We were at the Hard Rock Hotel, Monday Feb 16- Friday Feb 20 (4 nights). This was our second time at this resort, the first with a club level stay. Here are some detailed pictures of the room:

Mirror, Mirror on the Wall...Who got Murdered in this Hall?

Seriously. What is up with this mirror? Am I missing the rock reference?

Here- this mirror is much better. You can compare your height to famous rock stars.

My husband is the same height as Bruce Springsteen, my boys are as tall as Bob Dylan and Madonna, and I would see eye to eye with Pat Benatar.

Thanks for posting these! I just booked my room today for August. Quick question- do they offer a variety of kcups? Just wondering if I should bring my own from home. Do they have sugar and creamer packets? Thanks again!

Silly me! I didn't take a closeup of the coffee and tea provided this time around.

Documentation fail!!! :sad2:

I think they had 2 kcups of regular coffee and 2 decaf. There were a couple of tea, but not hot chocolate (I think there was some last time we stayed).

I'm pretty sure there were creamers (mini-moos) and a variety of sugar/sweeteners, but I drink my coffee black, so I didn't pay attention.

I know from a past trip that you can leave a note or call * Star Service to get additional kcups, but I don't know if they have any flavored varieties. I brought some extra kcups just because I don't like to leave the availability of morning coffee to chance.

Here is a picture from my stay in 2013:

Thanks so much for the photos and additional info!

I'm so excited to see that they have a mini fridge in the room instead of a mini bar now.

5 months to go.....

Thanks for posting! We are checking in tomorrow evening for our first time stay at HR. We usually stay at RP so will see which we like better. I am happy they have a mini fridge. Hoping to stop and get some milk for cereal for breakfast before hitting the parks for the day. Too bad there is no microwave!

Great post thanks! Did you take any more pictures of the Club Lounge and offerings? I'm living vicariously through others until we arrive this summer!

Sorry I also had a question. I am travelling with my DH, DS age 16 and 6 foot 2 and my skinny but tall DD aged 13. Would the rollaway bed be manageable for either of them. They are NOT happy about sharing but I wasn't splurging for two rooms for four nights. We have a one bed villa at OKW for most of the holiday so I thought they could cope but this has given me an idea.

I'll look, but I don't really think I have any other club lounge pictures worth posting.

I am disappointed that we didn't get to try the appetizers on the other 3 nights we were there, but we were at the parks at that time.

My son is 5 foot 7 and said the cot was fairly comfortable. It was noisy, though. We could hear him as when he moved. It wasn't too bad, though.

^ thanks for the info. It might work for my daughter then. She's as light as a feather!

Thanks for the pics! It looks like the room designs vary. There are some pictures on another thread that show slightly different new decor....but I like it :) That mirror though?? Creepy!

Thanks for posting a pic of the hairdryer! For the first time ever in many travels, I decided to leave my hairdryer at home and just use whatever would be available at the PBH, to my surprise, I loved it! I'm kind of particular when it comes to hair stuff, you see.. :)

I completely forgot to jot down the name/brand and just didn't pursue. Now that I have it - thanks to your photo natebenma, I can order it... so thank you! :)

Not gonna lie Dee, I looked at these yesterday and bought our Universal APs...trying to decide where we will fit HRH in for at least two nights this August without taking away from Beach Club....I wonder if hubby minds losing a night at Anna Maria Island.....hmmmm

The mirror is very weird! :scared1:

Did the other room pictures you saw have this "feature"?

Thanks for posting your comment. I take all these pictures and my family will ask "WHY are you taking a picture of that?" and I tell them "It may help someone."

And sometimes it does.

:goodvibes

Uh Oh. Am I going to get blamed for a Beach Club stay AND a Hard Rock stay? Your DH may never forgive me!

Yep, all your fault ;) Booked 3 nights HRH CL....waiting to hear back from my TA to see if I can add a night at the beginning of our BC CL stay :)

was staying at Club level worth the extra$$

For us, no question!!! We booked a regular room in July for our February stay, and got a Stay More Save More rate of $350 per night. When Annual Passholder room rates were released for the Hard Rock, there were no regular rooms available with the discount, but a club level upgrade was only $9 more per night ($359).

No brainer!!!

We are early opening people, so club level only makes sense to us if the breakfast is served before the park(s) open. In Feb, breakfast started at 7 and IoA opened at 8, so we had time to eat before getting to the park. When we stayed in July 2013, IoA opened at 7 am, the same time the lounge opened, so we just booked a regular room.

:thumbsup2
