Green DIS Laynard person at MK Nov. 12.

I saw someone with a green DIS laynard at the Magic Kingdom on Wednesday, Nov. 12 at the Trail Station. You didn't get on the train, you walked up to the gate to late. My dh noticed that you were wearing the same Laynard green/white laynard as I was. You were the only DIS member I saw in the parks.

I did have a small DIS meet at ESPN, but you were the only DIS person I spotted.

Yep, that was me. I was hanging out with CM Donna who used to frequent these boards (PandyPaws) - she's an engineer/train conductor and either she was going or coming back from her break. It's too bad your dh didn't say something - I knew you were down the same time I was and had hoped to meet, but guess it wasn't in the cards. Maybe next time!!

There used to be a site where you could buy all things DIS - t-shirts, lanyards, mugs, etc. but I don't know if it still exists. I know I bought stuff from there many years ago.

Good you were able to connect with Donna. I always enjoyed her tours on the trucks at AK safari. She always had a wonderful delivery. And then a few times on her train at MK.

Yes, she's still there! We try to catch up every trip, especially this past one as she's going through a tough time. I know she'd love to get back to AK someday, but the hours aren't as good as MK.
