Great Book About the Segway

    I read this after taking the tour. It's about the concept and creation of the Segway Human Trasporter. I found it absolutely facinating. The title is Code Name Ginger. The first concept HT was called Fred. Hence Fred and Ginger (Rogers and Astaire). Here's an Amazon link to find out more:

    Maybe this is geeky but I really like finding out 'behind the scenes' stuff and this book really did it for me!

    I still remember when the creator was bragging about how whole cities would be built around the Segway. As soon as I saw one, I knew it would never be anything more than a novelty item/niche product for the disabled. I'll admit they're fun to ride though, although it's a crock that you can't fall off easily, as my husband can attest. ;)
