Gravy/sauce for your corned beef and cabbage....

    for all of you cooking your corned beef and cabbage for St. Pat's day...I'd thought I'd share this sauce/gravy recipe that I make with mine... this stuff is wonderful over the corned beef - my bunch loves it over the potatoes and cabbage too!!! It's really really good....:goodvibes

    1/4 cup margarine/butter
    1/4 cup flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp pepper
    2 1/4 cup of milk
    2 tblsp horseradish (mine is from the jar)
    1 tblsp A1

    melt butter, stir in flour
    cook stirring 2 minutes
    and the rest of the ingredients
    cook stirring (don't boil) occasionally until thickened
