I am looking into my first trip to Disney....2 adults and 2 children ages 7&8. I got a pin for free dining in June. My total for the four of us for 5 nights, a 4 day base ticket package, and the free quick service dining is $1666. Is this a good deal?

Yes , this a good deal.

However, if you are flying, make sure and check your airfare for your dates before you book - if you are flexible, find the dates with the best air fare.

I assumed it is value, with the QSDP.

Usually with 2 adults and 2 children, you get the best bang for your buck with free dining. Basically you are now paying full rack rate for the room, but for only two adults (based on double occupancy), but you are getting two adult and two children dining plans.

If you want to compare, put in the same information in for a moderate and/or deluxe and see what you think?

Like others have said, if flying, pick a time to go when the tix are the cheapest.

Unfortunately I am driving. Plane tickets are just too high!

Sounds pretty good to me- I also got the free dining pin and I upgraded to regular dining. We are also staying 5 nights at POR with park hoppers- for 2 adults and 2 kids - 9&11. (which means my son is considered an adult!) Our total is $2397.00- for the Memorial day week. Hope this helps!

that is a good price for a value resort. you are not going to find many other trips for four people that much cheaper. they only thing i would look at is seeing how much more it would be to upgrade your dining plan. we were not a fan of the qsdp. if you want the table services to eat at it may be worth the upgrade.

Thanks for confirming. I didn't think it was a great deal but I suppose it's Disney so it's going to have to be good enough.
