I just received in the mail an over the door organizer that will be perfect for the cruise. It's made of canvas, has tons of pockets, a nice size mirror, a little fold-out shelf, and some removable zipper pouches. Now I know I'll have room to have all of our things easily accessible for the 10 days! It was more expensive than the over the door shoe holders, but sooo much nicer! Take a look, it was $14.99 at www.collectionsetc.com
It's item #21009 listed under "Housewares"

Looks great. I think I'll have to get one of these. Could you hang this one on the inside of your stateroom door?

The organizer looks great but I could not tell from the picture how it hooks on the door. Is there some sort of bracket or does it require a hanger?

if hangers are needed would the 3M type that will come off easily work (how heavy is the organizer? pre personal items)

I comes with two metal hooks that go through metal rings at the top and fit over he door with a flat piece, like the over the door robe hooks I've seen. It says it will hold ten pounds worth of stuff, and I'm guessing it weighs 3 to 3.5 pounds, including the hooks.

The photo looked like it screwed into the door, knew that wouldn't work.

I noticed that in the picture it looked like there either weren't any hooks, or that it screwed in also....but I figured I could think of a way to hang it. It just looked too handy to pass up. I was glad when it came with the hooks.
Now I'll just have to decide which door to hang it on....no matter where I put it, it will probably be on the wrong door when I need it!!!
