So are the sundaes as heavenly as they sound? Which is the best? Was it worth the visit?
We're planning this for our upcoming visit as well!
Oh yeah Totally justifies having dessert BEFORE dinner

If it's anything like the real one in San Fran, then they are yummy!!!
If you like peanut butter / chocolate - Gold Rush. Its delicious gooey indulgence. We're on the DxDP so will be on food overload on our next trip, but still trying to find a way to work it in to the schedule... Highly recommended
Where and what is this glorious chocolate heaven you are discussing?
It'd DTD in the market place end. It's so good, hoping I can get some more of my favourite spiced pumpkin chocolates when we are there in October. They only take them out for a limited time.
It has been years since we were there ... but, DH and I remember it fondly! And, our girls are very much looking forward to it on our trip in February!!
I went one time casue I was craving ice cream and something coffee flavored, and they had some sort of coffee sundae that was divine!
I have never been there, but I am planning it during our trip this summer. I have read that the sundaes cost something like $8 each, but they have a huge deluxe 8 scoop sundae that the whole family can share for $25. Has anyone tried it?
1) That is the problem with some thoughts.
2) They are simply misstated
3) The sentence should read,
. . . Totally justifies having dessert AS dinner.
Its so worth a visit! Its very yummy! As rusty said, you can have it for dinner! Lol. I love the peanut butter chocolate Sundae. I think its the gold rush? OMG its heaven!!!!!!
Yes, they are. My favorite are any of the "Intense Dark" hot fudge sundaes. There's the Espresso Escape (espresso ice cream), Midnight Reverie (chocolate ice cream) and the Mint Bliss (mint ice cream and chocolate ice cream... my favorite).
Sooooo good! I mean, look at all that hot fudge!
I bought the last three bags in the store one day (was told they were not getting anymore in for a good few days) and as I was leaving there was a guy asking if they had any.... Let's just say DH and I made a swift exit. Going to buy as much as I can this year.
Thanks so much for the picture. As I looked over the menu the two that sparked my interest is the gold rush and the world famous. I am so excited to try this!!
Yup....my suggestion too!
Right now I'm missing that most delicious chocolate smell.
Oh, and don't forget to stroll through the store part. Sometimes they hand out free chocolate squares (or they used to anyway)....you know those ones with caramel, raspberry or peanut butter inside....mmmmmm.
