I need 2 family vacations this year - I've been a bit stressed. We are doing Universal in October. I am looking for a summer vacation that will make all family members :)

I bought 3 GetAway Weeks around Christmas from SkyAuction for $179/week. I gave a week to my parents. I am hoping to use a week in Orlando in October. I wanted to use the other week in the summer (06/05-
    09/01). Any suggestions for locations?

I need it to be within a 6 hour drive from Philly. My DH doesn't like long rides.

My DS 12 needs to be constantly entertained -- Yes - I know it is unreasonable & can't happen, but I need to at least have some "adventure" so he doesn't drive me crazy.

Williamsburg is an option, but Busch Gardens may be more then I want to spend.

Anyone have any suggestions of GetAway Weeks resorts aside from Williamsburg?

Maybe somewhere near Lake George or NY state? I would also say New England, but doubt that there would be any availability at that time.

Williamsburg would be on my list for sure. Even Virginia Beach if you like the ocean.

    Any neat places in Ohio?

    Good luck to you!!

You like the mountains? You can try Massanautten in Virginia. It is an all season resort, skiing in the winter and they just opened up a new indoor water park. Closest city is Harrisonburg VA. Nearby is Skyline Drive and many different caverns with tours.

I second that recommendation, we've been here several times and love it.
