is it as good as the reviews?
YES!! We've eaten there 4 or 5 times and it has never disappointed us. Be aware the portion sizes are on the small side, but I've never left hungry. And it is gourmet cuisine.
The first time was the best ( we went because a review called it "an epiphany" ) but it's always good.
You need to make reservations the first day you can - which is either 1 or 2 months before going ( just check their website).
We brought our own wine last time to save $$ - corkage wasn't awful, but it had to be a wine not on their menu.
If you aren't aghast at the thought of Foie Gras, I HIGHLY recommend theirs.
Yes all my friends say it is the best in town and not disappointingly over rated like some other high end restaurants are.
