French rail strike

    Hi all
    I was reading on another forum, that there is a French rail strike due on Thursday 18th October , although this does not effect me, I thought I should let other users know about this . I read that there will be a very limited service on the train and metro networks on this date . I know a lot of us, use these services to get to Disney via Paris, and would advise for anyone travelling on this date to look into this a little more.

    For anyone using the metro or RER it may be an issue. I can tell you though that disturbances are quite commonplace and I often had colleagues coming in late to work due to a sudden protest/shutdown/strike!

    of course we are not much better off in Germany with the rail strikes at the moment....
