LOVE the pictures! Thanks for posting!!
When we visited this resort in Feb to see if we liked it, they were working on the area by the main building. Anyone have any pics of what they did there? I am assuming they are done since they have moved on to POR now.

I'm not a photographer at all, but I do love photos and I LOVE POFQ
Thanks Andre. I saw that, but I didn't realize it was taken after the refurb....looks the same as before Still beautiful though!
The main visible difference is the large round planter/borders around the trees. Before, they had quaint ironwork grills directly around the bases of the trees, very reminiscent of those you might find in a big city street. Also they re-laid all of the paving.
One for today:
ive have never stayed at POFQ or POR but these pictures are really drawing me in and making me want to stay there. I had plans to visit on my last two trips but have never made it there.
Agreed! We have a long time to go, but these pictures take POFQ to near the top of the list. Thanks everyone for the great pictures!
I don't think you'll be disappointed. It's a lovely resort!
I will be staying at POFQ for the first time this December 13-23 and I just can't wait! I was in NOLA a few months ago and I can't believe HOW much it really looks the same. From looking at these photos the tree lined streets could easily pass for the parade route along St. Charles Place!! Disney truly knows its stuff when it comes to detailed themes.
I use this as my screen saver at work. So pretty and I've had people ask if I took it while I was in NOLA Memorial Day.
I always laugh and say I totally stole it from the net and it's a Disney Resort.
I actually was comparing the French Quarter to my stay at POFQ. The beignets were better at the Cafe Du Monde, but the grounds were prettier at POFQ.
I am just loving all the pics of POFQ, it is making me real excited about my trip next May. (Still sooo far away.) Here are a couple of pics of my stay there in March.
We stayed right there in the middle room with the blue door and pink walls on the second floor in that building in June/July 2009 I loved being able to see the river
So pretty!!!! What a great shot.
