Are there any attractions or heavily sought after FP+ that are hard to get when the 60 day window opens?? Last time we went in August/September 2015 it was Anna & Elsa. Not sure if that's still the case or not though and if there's any others. I still have time to plan but wondering what needs to be on top of my list and what I can work on still getting after I've gotten the hard to get ones.

None, in my experience.

While it's almost impossible to get FPs for Anna & Elsa or the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train as you get closer to your actual arrival, I didn't have any issue whatsoever getting them at the 60 day mark, at the exact times I wanted them. I was even able to switch our A&Es to a different time the day after our window opened.

Attractions beyond those that will be hard to move or switch to when you get closer to your trip are Toy Story Mania, and perhaps the nighttime shows.

That said, I made it a point to book FPs for the day we wanted to meet A&E before booking any of the other days, even though that was the last full day of our trip.

Thank you! As of now DD says she has no interest in seeing the princesses anymore. I'm still going to get them though as she has a history of changing her mind last minute when things then become impossible.

Our 60 day window was midnight. No problems getting anything. 7DMT had every time open.

If you're going during party season, then A&E may be hard to get at 60 days at the times you want, and 7DMT will be somewhat limited. Just remember to check for one person at a time and schedule overlapping times rather than everyone in your party getting the exact same FP+ time, and you should be good to go.

If you're going outside party season, nothing should be a big issue at 60 days. The MK's short operating hours really mess with hard to get FP+ from September-January, though.

We're going 11/8-11/17 and the week we're going there's going to be alot of early closures due to MVMCP and that has me nervous/worried about FP availability. Ill try the overlapping times thing. Thanks again all!

If you look back a year ago on the boards, you'll see lots of complaints about A&E and 7DMT FP+ availability that coincided with the 60 day window for party season trips. Right now, everyone is happy because the 60 day window only extends to early September. I expect to start to see the complaints in about 2 weeks, and then they complaints will stop around mid-October because people will then be booking trips that fall after the last MVMCP on December 18th. It's pretty much like clockwork.

Ah fun times. I wont be complaining but I'm hoping to avoid having to log on every hour and stalk the website to keep searching.

Is early-to-mid November really more crowded than mid June? Or are there other reasons for limited availability of certain FPs?

Seven Dwarves Mine Train is still hard to come by as is Anna & Elsa.

No, but there are more families with young children then. People with older children tend to go when schools are out.

It has nothing to do with crowds, it has to do with operating hours, and thus more limited FP+ availability. The MK closes at 7:00 for 3-4 days/week, every week, from mid-September to mid-December for the parties. June has nice long operating hours to accommodate its heavy crowds. Even the weeks of Christmas and New Year's, the highest crowd times of the year, don't generally see a problem with 60 day availability for A&E and 7DMT because the parks are open the longest hours during those weeks. But once you cut the MK's operating hours by 30%, there are 30% fewer opportunities for people to get FP+s.

Thanks! I was not aware that the rest of the park shut down during the parties. That does explain it.

Wondering if I cant secure an A&E and SDMT FP+ if our party night that we also booked will generally have less crowds/wait time than standby on regular operating hours.

You'll probably get them, but they may not be at ideal times. Using the overlapping method should help a lot.

If you absolutely can't get A&E, jump in line for them around 6:30 or so. You'll be allowed to wait in line even past the party start time, but I'm fairly certain that as the party approaches, non-party guests are ushered through quickly to get them cycled through before the party begins. I know they do this for the other princesses, and I'm pretty sure they do it for A&E as well, but someone who tried it last year will have to confirm. We got lucky because Disney released more A&E FP+s close to our trip dates, so we dropped our non-ideal FP+s that we made for the last day of our trip and were able to get exactly what we wanted on the first day instead.

Thank you I'm of course hopeful for FP+. I know the line for the dwarfs gets pretty long - wondering if sane goes for A&E or are they not doing m&g during party hours ?
