Just found out a coworker (A) is gay. I really like A and would like to acknowledge that I am aware that she is gay without offending her. I am straight but I have absolutely no problem with her being gay. I was just wondering if its okay to say something and if so, what can I say? Since she hasnt officially come out to me would it be wrong to mention? Another coworker confirmed it when I asked. A is really laid back and I think it would be hard to offend her. But I dont want to take any chances. If you werent completely out and someone who was cool with it - a CSP maybe - mentioned it, would that bother you? I guess it really isnt any of my business. I just thought she might want a friend at work who knew and was cool with it. PS I was really afraid to ask this question because I dont want to offend anyone - I hope I didnt offend.
