We are going to be booking our first Fantasy cruise and having sailed on the Magic several times, we have always been middle to aft, more aft. The week we are looking at has only a couple category rooms that are all forward. We have not had any kind of sea sickness in the past, and really don't anticipate it, but do any of you like or dislike the forward cabins? Specifically Fantasy forward? Thanks for the help

We are booked in stateroom 7528 on the Fantasy. It is a forward, starboard side verandah room. It has great reviews and we have no concerns with being more forward than our usual "mid ship" stateroom. It is 8 rooms from the elevators and the mid ship area.
(we were very aft on our 1st cruise and could hear and feel the engines at times, so I wouldn't care to book that again)

    Book it and enjoy! :goodvibes

We were in 7504 corner cabin all the way forward on the Fantasy and liked it. The hallway is super quiet and it's a short elevator ride to the adults only areas. The con is it's a long walk from Europa and Cabanas. We liked the room so much that we have it booked on our next two cruises. No issues with sea sickness, I felt the motion more then usual but then I had a sinus infection that I didn't know about and it didn't matter where I was on the ship.

We had the same experience with a forward cabin on the Fantasy.

We have stayed in 8504 2x's and 8006 once on the Dream/Fantasy and love the forward location. I did not find any difference in movement but that is something that some people do feel more than others...feeling movement can be very subjective person to person.

The distance between the forward and mid ship elevators is much less than the distance from mid to aft elevators so we felt being foward was much easier to get from place to place...perceived ease or not we like the foward area. When we needed to go all the way aft we would either walk the pool deck or Deck 3 which made the trip seem less long.

If you walk from forward to aft along a passenger hallway it can seem like forever!!!

We were all the way forward on the Dream. We were in one of the last rooms on that end (I forget the number). We did feel LOTS of movement and a good bit of engine noise. We don't get sea sick so it didn't really bother us. If I had a preference I would stay mid-ship but if forward is all I can get I wouldn't hesitate to book it.

We stayed in a forward stateroom on the Fantasy and did not have any issues with the motion. We loved the quiet and had a great view out the porthole window!
