DO you find yourself doing better than in the past?? Trying harder than before to stick to your programs just so you can et the next clippie?? I know That until I thought about it I would say no but maybe I am. Not only do I have the clippie I also put my stats in my signature so every one knows how I am doing and that is motivating me to do better!!!

    SO what about everyone else??

I am most definitely working for my 5 pound clippie!! I think it is a great idea! Very motivational seeing it in print! It is an affirmation that I AM doing something to make myself healthier!

    Thanks!

YES!!! I am doing better. I still have had my slip ups, and yo-yo's, but I got down to business and am excited. Truthfully I am a little embarassed that I haven't pulled it together before this. I know I am capable. I got to the point where I was angered. but in a good way. Angered into motivation. I want not only that 1st 5# clippie, but 10, 15,20,25.........

I was pretty darned determined before the new clipart but now, I am even more determined.

It seems like everyone else is have so much more success than I am, I'm beginning to wonder how many years before I lose 5 pounds.

The clipart is sort of a badge of honor, isn't it?

I'm just finding it helpful to be able to chat with others who have similar interests and challenges as I do - it is very comforting on a day that isn't going how you would like it to!

Yes, I am finding it very motivating. Before I joined, I "wanted" to lose, knew I needed to. But that little clippie in my sig is a little reminder to stick with it.

I find it helpful to shoot for a clippie. I too have my weight in the siggie, that lso helps because I know it is out there for others to see, and want to see it improve. I have always liked the WISH board and have visited often for encouragements, but the new incentives, and more people here, really help :)

    Great work Kelsie !!!!

Yes!!! It really has helped to motivate me!!! Thanks Kelsie for coming up with this idea! :D

I also like it when there is a daily "Pat yourself on the back" thread to post what you've done that day whether it be exercised, drank water, stayed on your plan, etc. That motivates me to do good so I'll have something to add!

I think striving for a clippie is a definite motivator. I had two really good weeks when I started, lost 5 pounds, then 4 pounds and now for the last four days I have been holding, can't get that one pound to go away so I can get the 10 pound clippie, but I am motivated to get it! I enjoy this board for the motivation, the pats on the back, the support and the helpful ideas.

I find this board so motivating! I am so excited about the prospect of earning my first clippie! You all are so inspirational and there seem to be a wide range of goals here from losing those last few stubborn pounds to people like me that have a long, long, long "weigh" to go. I look forward to coming here daily and being encouraged. Thanks all!
