Welcome to the February Exercise Challenge!

If you’re returning, we’re excited to have you back! If you’re new, welcome to the team! This is how it works:

Each person chooses a time goal, and posts minutes toward that goal as they exercise. (You can post every day, or just whenever you can.) All sorts of movement counts – walking, running, yoga, Zumba, whatever…outside, at the gym, or right at home! You can set a monthly goal that means something to you, or calculate your goal based on a target number of minutes per day. Since February has 29 days, here are some popular conversions:

10 minutes/day = 290
15 minutes/day = 435
20 minutes/day = 580
30 minutes/day = 870

Part of the fun of our Disney challenge is color changing, so this post will be updated with individual and team color changes as we make more and more progress:

Blue - 10%
Orange -25%
Purple - 50%
Pink - 75%
Red - 90%
Green - 100%


The challenge officially starts on February 1st, but if you don’t find this thread until later in the month, you’re still welcome to join! Just post your goal and I’ll add you to the list. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions, and check out old threads to see what’s been going on.

I have the RNR New Orleans Half Marathon race at the end of the month, which will add 180 minutes to my total because I am a slow runner.

I'm going to set the bar high for this month and do.... 2000 minutes. Lots of training starts tomorrow! :yay:
