    Which would you pick for a family of 5 (2A, 2C, 1infant) for a 3 night cruise?

The cost--as it turns out---is exactly the same with either choice for the sailing we have selected.

I would do the 2 deluxe Inside CONNECTING cabins for many reasons:

    More space
    2 bathooms ;)
    2 tv's
    more space in general

We prop open the doors 24/7, and have our own mini-suite...The kids or adults can relax without disturbing the others, or watch TV with the same thing in mind...

The bathrooms, especially when getting ready for the evening, are priceless..

That is my take on it..:)

Room size is always a major concern obviously.

Deck location can play a role as well. The Cat 4 rooms will be close
to deck 9 if you plan to spend a lot of time there.

I found that when I traveled with kids that nap the balcony was nice for me to rest on while the child slept and rest of family played on board.

On the flip side it will be easier for what I assume staggered bed times with the two rooms.

On my first cruise I just had to have a balcony. Now that I know more I have decided what turns out to be almost $100 day or more I can live without a balcony and spend the money elsewhere.
Always welcome a free upgrade of course...:yay:
