Hi
Recently have on right foot I should say under foot ( ball of foot ) a pain and guess what ??? they only shoes I feel ok in are crocs :confused3
Have an appointement with foot specialist in sept ??? Are there anybody here who have ask a specialist if wearing crocs can amplified a problem because they are so soft with no real support ( or so I think ) .
Also as I'll quite probably be wearing mine at wdw are the decorations with disney's characters on sale at wdw if so where if I'm stock in wearing my crocs :lmao: I might as well decorate them .
So any of you with big or small foot problems who wears crocs does it get worst with wearing crocs ??
Thanks

I don't think I could wear my crocs all day at disney without socks unless I wanted blisters. Prolly would need a bit more support too myself.

I got a Morton's neuroma (nerve Damage on ball of foot between a couple of toes. Got that treated so not in pain with shoes on now but it's impossible to walk without shoes support. Crocs does fine for every day stuff usually but can't say I could do disney in them all day every day.

I feel your pain! I have severe heel pain, and usually wear orthotics. I do have a pair of Crocs, but I can only wear them for short periods of time (my orthotics don't fit in them). I will be bringing them with me to Disney World, but I know I won't be able to wear them around the parks all day.
With foot pain, I say wear whatever works for you. If it's Crocs, then don't be worried about whether they're good for your feet or not. Just think of the hundreds of styles of shoes out there that women wear that are probably horrible for your feet.

I have had ball of foot pain for about 10 years now and was apprehensive about all that walking in WDW for last year. On top of THAT, I have a problem with my left knee where when I walk over a mile, it starts hurting.

I went to a running shoe store where they sell all types of athletic shoes and the sales people are very knowledgeable about fitting shoes. I ended up with the best and most comfy shoes ever! I put a Dr. Scholl's athletic insert for more cushion and I had absolutely NO PAIN! To note; I tried Crocs and they just don't cut it for me, I really am careful about my feet and don't mind spending a bit more to protect them! BTW, my shoes were on sale so I only paid around $60.

Good luck!:thumbsup2

I have a bad case of plantar faciitis and heel spurs. Last summer I wore my crocs for a day at SeaWorld San Antonio with no problem. However recently I finally went to a foot doctor. He and the nurse said that wearing crocs all the time and walking around Disney for 5 days in them will mess your feet up even more. They both suggested a good tennis shoe and if I did not want to do that, then to invest in a pair of Birkenstocks--so that is what I did. They are very comfy. I plan on wearing tennis shoes for my trip tough.

I broke the arch of my foot several years ago and have had problems with that foot ever since. I found that when I wear my crocs ( and they are the actual Crocs, not a knock-off type), I don't have the pain. I just wore them everyday for the last two weeks without any trouble.

When I went to my Orthopedic surgeon and to the place that makes orthotics a few weeks ago, they both had a large display of them in their offices. I figure that they would not be selling them if they didn't recommend them.

I will add my story here. I am a nurse and work 12 hour shifts. I have been a nurse for many, many years. Over the years I have broken my right foot 4-5 times and had numerous surgeries on my left (this is the glamorous side of nursing that most don't know about). I tried the "real" crocs for the first time a few months ago and I can't tell you what a world of difference they have made. I also have developed a neuroma on the bottom of my right foot and the crocs even have good support for that. I bought the crocs that are "Rx" style. I have 2 shoe boxes full of supports, heel cups and specifically made orthotics. I have spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars on good shoes with good support. I will be trying the crocs for the first time on our next Disney vacation.
