Food Dehydrator

The directions do say for all wild caught meats and poultry to put in the oven for 30 minutes on 160 degrees.
 
we mostly do fruits...the kids love to snack on them.

our favorite recipe is to slice apples into "moon shapes" and shake sugar and cinnamon on them, then dehydrate. The first batch is usually eaten warm...then, I get to store some =).

We also love to do strawberries.

so far cantaloupe and watermelon have not been a big hit here.

and, yes, jerky is fun.

I am considering trying to dehydrate spaghetti sauce.

I never get to put up any apple slices if my daughter is around! LOL! Ever since she was little she has loved them as you make them. If I do get any, and make apple pie I don't have to worry,she wont touch that. One of my favorites is dried tomato slices. Great with mac n cheez or on any pasta or pizza!
