It is so funny that I came across this. My husband and I will be there October 16-18 for our anniversary (without the kids ) First time to the world without them
Anyway, my husband came home on Monday and said we are going. We have never been there without kids and I just found out that it is the FWF. We are excited. Our 11th Anniversary is on the 16th and I made ressies at the Yachtsman Steakhouse. I really wanted the restaurant at BayLake Tower. So we will see what the coming days hold.
I am glad I came across this. Now, off to do more research about the Food & Wine event. Have Fun!!
I feel better since I found my own kind on the DISBoards....
Welcome and glad you found me!!!!
What part of Texas are you from... I am from San Antonio
I'm in the Dallas area... . That is so funny that you are also from San Antonio.
My DH and I have 20 Acres outside SA in a place called Bandera... That is Home Sweet Home.... Maryland is just for a job....
so I got an answer back....
Thank you with your question about room charges. At this time our hotel system does not have the ability to take two credit cards at the same time. This will be changing in the near future but not soon enough for your visit. Each room key, however, has a separate identifier. So the night before you leave you can get a copy of your room account and tally up who should pay for what then have the concierge desk take payment so your account is cleared.
At your service,
Oh wow.... Good to know thanks for letting us know..
Hey, Brandi! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!! Come up with any other ideas for celebrating? With all the rain we've gotten in the past couple days, you might need a boat out on your porch for dinner - LOL!! I'm trying to remember what DH and I did for our anniversary in March, but I'm having a hard time remembering . . . is that bad!?!??!?!
I think your idea of a nice dinner with - hopefully - a sunset sounds great. You can certainly celebrate more at Disney. In fact, my birthday was last week, but you'd better believe I'm going to continue the celebration while we're there!
Hope you and your DH have a WONDERFUL day!
Thank you so much for remembering....
I agree all this rain and I might better off with a row boat....
There is a jet ski in the garage, that could be fun
I am still not sure what we are going to do, I will think of something, hopefully!
Ok 1 week (7 days) from today I will at WDW and AKL CL
I am so excited about going and I can't wait really, I wish I was leaving today and would be there until the 17th...
Anyway, I am surprised by how calm I am, I am usually very nervous/excited, like I am forgetting something, like I might have missed something, but this trip just seems so relaxed, like everything is in place.
I am just surprised by the feel of it.
My DH called me from the train this morning to tell me that he only had 3 more morning rides left before vacation.... I think he is ready too.
Does anyone know about the beer flight at the brewpub at Boardwalk?
And does anyone know about a tequila flight at La Cava in Mexico?
Full Sail Amber
Key West Sunset Ale
La Fin Du Monde
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
Widmer Drifter Pale Ale
Abita Purple Haze
There is a beer flight available at a rate of three 6 oz. beers for $7.25
According to their sign they only offer 6 oz. (for either $2.75 or $3.25) and 12 oz. (for either $5.00 or $6.25) or you can get the flight for $7.25 (any three 6 oz).
I have a feeling that David and I will be finding this booth real soon....
I am so excited for you!!!
I'll do the one week dance with you!
ok last night was like the official start to our vacation....
We went to the Opening Tap party for Baltimore Beer Week, it was held at the Baltimore Museum of Industry, which was a pretty cool place for a party.
Here is B'more
This is walking through the front door... Check out all the glasses on the table...
here is the food...
All the beers that we actually drank, there were many many more options that we could just not enjoy!!!
here is the official decree of the start of Beer Week and the tapping of the Firkin....by non other than Duff Goldman of Charm City Cakes and Ace of Cakes on Food Network...
This beer was really good, it used Maryland Hops and Wye Oak from Maryland. It was a special mellow beer... of course we had to try it.
The following is more beers that we drank thru the evening...
Here we are after a long night, having to go to work the next morning....UGHHHH
