"The skies above Universal Orlando will explode with American pride as never before at this year's Fourth of July fireworks celebration."

    Fireworks start at 10 p.m..

The party band 'Pocket Change' will be at CityWalk starting at 4 p.m.. Citywalk will also be offering drink specials and Americana-themed food and merchandise.

    Beyond the Fourth...

"Every night from July 5th to August 10th, the skies above both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure will come alive with some of the best fireworks shows around." Both shows will begin at 9:50 p.m..

The show at Universal Studios Florida will be "Shooting Stars" set to music of the movies. The Islands of Adventure show will be "Island Blast".

    Thanks Earl.
We were there last year for July 4 and loved the simultaneous fireworks at the parks and Citywalk. We loved it so much that we will be back this year July 3-7. Will they be set off simultaneously again? Just trying to figure the best spot to watch them.

Yes, I forgot to add this part...

"CityWalk is offering preferred viewing of the fireworks display at the lagoon stage area. Tickets for preferred viewing are $10 for adults and $5 for kids (tax included) and are available now at CityWalk Guest Services. The price includes games for the kids. Adults can also join in on the fun with watermelon, hot dog and pie eating contests."

Didn't I see something in my AP newsletter about preferred seating for AP holders?

Other than the preferred viewing at Citywalk, can you recommend some good spots to watch the fireworks? Also, will the parks still be open when the fireworks go off?
    Thanks

Does this mean there will be NO fireworks beyond Aug. 10th? We will be at IOA/ASF for the last week in Aug. and was hoping they would have something.

We'll finally get to see some fireworks while we are there in August!
