I hope she is okay too. Her parents are very scared. We've been praying for all of them. I was able to pass by her house and make sure all is ok with her today.

DS and I did the shopping for all the stuff I need for this week with school. So, now that I have all that I need it should make it much easier. Maybe I will even get to put a few things in a suitcase tonight before bed! :scratchin

:rotfl2: Yes, I believe I will be meeting some wonderful people!!
:lmao: :lmao: That's what I keep hearing. No one wants to be room mom by then.

I hope all goes well for her too.
Thank you. I love packing too. I'm definitely an over packer! One day when we start flying I'm going to have to re-teach myself how to pack.

Hi Blue! I well remeber the Room Mom years !! I received a Flyer when DD was in Kindergarten asking for help with a Bazaar!! It said donate penny candy as one of the"helps " . I can handle that I thought ! :cool1: I ended up co chairing the event and it just went on till 6th Grade!:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I have to se a "funny" from those years ! We were planing a class party and asked one of the mothers to make 2 dozen cupcakes ! She told us she couldn't make 2 dozen as she only had one pan!!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: It has been a joke ever since with the rest of us !!:rotfl:

I love your trip binder! My boyfriend's father is doing the same thing for our trip in July (his binder is like 5 inches though! haha) and I'm thinking of doing one for March!

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Those stories are so funny!
The part about the penny candy turning into co-chairing the event, is sort of what's happening this week. I don't mind. I just wish the room mom would have asked me a little earlier. I offered about 3 weeks ago. She asked me the day before (yesterday).

:welcome: to my PTR! Always great to meet new readers.
    Thank you about the binder.
Too funny about your boyfriend's dad and his binder. They fill up REALLY FAST!

    Thank you. :flower3:

I bought this bad-boy today to help me out!! No more lost post-it's all over the house!!

    Hey there, Rosie! :flower3:

:rotfl2: Yes, that was me. I'd write a note so I wouldn't forget and then somehow either lose it or get so used to seeing it stuck on something that I'd forget it was there. :lmao:

I can't wait. But I hate that we will miss you guys too! Hopefully on a future trip. I was really looking forward to it. :goodvibes

Nice Blackberry! That's my next one too! Good luck with the room mom thing. It's sad as a high school teacher to see the lack of parental interaction where it's really really needed. Obviously for us it's different than it is with the little ones, but regardless it is so lacking. No doubt, DS's teacher is very thankful.

Ok so, 2 weeks from now we will have just finished watching Fantasmic for the very first time!!!

Sorry, I don't have pics of Fantasmic from a previous trip since we've never seen it before. So I will leave you with these from DHS instead....

Sorry I haven't been commenting so much. Between getting ready for the trip, getting ready for the Super Bowl at work. And being lots of e-mails from FaceBook (thanks scotty.:sad2: ). I found everyone in the world I know on there! I can't breathe!! Somethings gotta give!!

Wow... I have been OUT OF THE LOOP on your PTR... but I'm here now. Better late than never. I have much catching up to do, so I'll post here and there... but I just read about how you want to involve DS's class. I think that is such a wonderful and SWEET idea!! I'm going to steal it, if you don't mind. I've left my own class twice now to go to WDW. Both times I brought back pencils for them.. but the pressed penny idea and the sign... AWESOME!!!:thumbsup2 I'll be going back for spring break, so returning with more goodies for them would be super.

One other quick suggestion... stop by the DVC kiosks and ask for stickers. The have rolls of them.. big circular DVC stickers. Last time I told the CM there that I was a teacher and I wanted to bring stickers back for my class.. he gave me the whole darn roll! Free!!:p

    I'll be back soon!

    I love the blackberry!
    Thank you. :flower3:
My hope is that I can still be a stay at home mom when he is in Jr. High and High School. I would really like to stay involved.

I just applied last week to Sub at our school. After our Disney trip I will take a class and then should be certified to Sub in our town. Although I think I will just stick with DS's school. :goodvibes

Totally understandable! I've been running like a mad-woman! But you know what?? The crazier it gets only means the closer we are to WDW!! At least that's been MY experience each time. This time I'm trying my best to not let the crazy stuff get to me. I just keep saying "SOON WE WILL BE IN DISNEY WORLD" over and over again in my head. :lmao:

Glad you're back! :wave2: I've been enjoying all your pictures on your TR.
I don't mind if you "steal" my idea at all. Besides, I "stole" it from someone else on the net. :thumbsup2 :rotfl2:
I thought about the stickers. DS usually comes home with a ton of them. This time I plan on asking for a few extra here and there and see what happens. I'm sure they will just give a bunch to him. They are pretty cool about the stickers. :)
