:welcome: We are so glad you are joining us. For the FE you basically join as a cabin. So you and the kids would be one group. Usually cabins that have kids get a little extra just for the kids, but if you read back to my post #12, it tells a little about it. There are a lot of threads on the DISboards that tell about the FE itself how some do it, things that are made and received. Sometimes more information than one can process. Since you just joined the DIS, you need to talk to us for at least 10 posts for you to be able to do some of the extras, like PM and posting pics and such.

Looking forward to getting to know you and feel free to ask us any questions.

Hope the rest of the group is also getting excited with the date fast approaching.

    :dance3::yay::woohoo:

If anyone's interested....I have a boy's pirate outfit that my son outgrew. He only wore it once on the Disney Dream. I would be happy to bring it on the ship if anyone wants it. (size 7) The entire outfit with accessories!

:welcome: So glad y'all will be joining us for the cruise and the FE. I have done the FE on each of my three cruises and it is so much fun. If you have any questions please ask away. There are many threads on the DIS about the subject.

Good looking boy. Makes me wish my boy's were still that small. (Kinda!!)

Have a great time and we hope to see you on ours.

Could you do me a favor? We are booked on the September '13 PC Repo and I would love to see the Navigators if you could scan them and send them to me.
If you can let me know and I will pm you my e-mail.

Have a safe trip to CA and as I said before an absolutely great vacation. Pictures would be welcome also!!

Yes, I will try to remember to save them all. We do mark them up with highlighters because Dave and I go to different places all day. Sherry

I can't believe I'm saying this, but we just booked this one :cool1::cool1::cool1:. We just spent 12 days at WDW over Thanksgiving, people are going to think I'm NUTS!!! I couldn't pass up the KSF! could you add us to the roll call?:
    Katie (me)
    Andrew (hubby)
    Brendan (8)
    Aidan (6)

We're in a cat. 10B. We live in Friendswood, which is just about 30 minutes north of Galveston, so if anyone has Galveston questions, I'll be happy to help with answers. Since we pulled the kids out of school for three and a half days for WDW, we're going to try and keep them in as long as possible on Friday, and I'm making them head directly to school on Tuesday morning after we disembark! Anyone know how early we'll be able to get off the ship if we carry our own luggage? This is our first Disney cruise, although we have all sailed Carnival and Royal before (DH and I have cruised around 10 times, the kids have cruised twice). Can't wait to get to know everyone! --Katie

:welcome: So glad y'all have joined us.
We don't think you are nuts. If you look at my track record in the last 12 months, I was in WDW for 11 days last December with my 2 kids, with my DH in May for 9 days and then a 7 day western caribbean on the Disney Fantasy and last a 8 day trip in September to celebrate the kids birthdays. Next year we will have the February Cozumel cruise, a September PC Repo on the Wonder with a few days at Disneyland and another December trip to WDW.
So if you are nuts, add me to your list!!!

Am adding you to the roll call. Please let me know if you also want to be added to the FE exchange list or if you have any other questions for us.

Yes, some think of it on the same line as a Secret Santa, but it does not have to be secret.

There are several threads on the DIS about the FE's how to make them, no-sew and otherwise, and also a lot of thread on what people have received and what they have made.

It can be as little or as much as you or your budget allows, and is just a lot of fun. I have done it on each of the cruises I have been on and had a lot of fun making and receiving. If you have any other questions or need a direction on finding the links, let me know. A lot of them are on my computer and it would not take long to find them for you.

You did great. I have you on the roll call and have added you to the FE list.

Those of us that I do not have staterooms for need to send them to me for the list. I have ours just have not remembered to add them. If you do not want them on the thread, just pm them to me.

Not sure what I am doing. But we are taking our four kids along with 4 other couples and kids. One of which is Mboeker. What do I do with the FE and getting with y'all's group of things to do?

    Heather and Katie,
I was reviewing our thread and noticed that in post #19 on page 2 I listed in detail complete with links information for the FE and gifts. . . anything you need to know.
So if you have not looked at that it might give you some information.
You two are about the only ones that I don't know if you are interested in joining the FE group or not.

You are doing fine. Since you have posted you are now a member of this thread and if you want to join our FE group all you have to do is tell me the parties in your stateroom and the stateroom #.
Mboeker has already expressed her interest in joining.
If the others in your group have not posted or are not able to post and want to join their information can be listed under your id. Like I have my ds and his wife under us on the rollcall. They are not members of the DIS so do not have a screenname.

Now we give you and mboeker a big :welcome: and we look forward to getting to see you in 50 days!!!

    Hey Kathy,

Our stateroom number is 7132 - which is really weird as this is the exact same stateroom that we had when we were on the Wonder about 5 years ago...

Thanks so much for putting this all together for everyone! :goodvibes

YEA!! I see my family on the roll call.
Is there a final list of people who are participating so that you know how much stuff to bring? Is that how it works?
Can other famiies that I am cruising with join? Is there a cut off time?

OK, I read those threads, and I'm in :thumbsup2! I'll PM you our cabin number :). Making the FE seems a little intimidating, but I imagine I'll come up with something ! --Katie

I will have the absolute final list on the cutoff date which will probably be New Year's Day since it is usually a month before sailing. If anyone wants to join after the cutoff it wil be up to each individual whether or not they add them or not. That is usually enough time to get done what you want and get everything ready to go. The only one I do not know if they want to be included is jenerra11 and family.

If the families you are cruising with have DisNames, just have them log into our thread and we can add them with their family information.
If they are not members of the Dis and want to join the fun you can add their information under you like I did on mine for my DS and his wife and a couple of others that have additions staterooms.

If you have any other questions about this or anything else, please ask away.

We have not decided on a time and place for a possible meet. A lot of groups do one before the drill in one of the lounges. What is everyone's opinion?
