Well, my DBF and I will have his son for the day!!! So he was able to get tickets to the minor league baseball team here the Pawsox, so we are going to the game for Fathers day! It will be fun! Just spending time with Thomas is fun anyway!!! The three of us have a great time together! They are not the Redsox, but it will be fun anyway!!!!

Going to see the minor league teams is always a lot of fun:banana: Those parks have great atmosphere and the players are always great to the fans...esp. to the little ones. We are able to see the Portland Sea Dogs play often and it's a great time. Like you said not the Red Sox but it's a great chance to see future Red Sox and be able to say you saw them when...

We are going to my brother's wedding. My mom said we will celebrate Father's Day at brunch in the morning. Since we don't have kids I don't get DH anything for Father's Day.

We'll be in WDW, so it is already a special day. We are eating at Tony's Town Square for lunch. I got DH the talking Darth Vader card (since it is a Star Wars weekend!!) and we got him a shirt from the Disney store. That's it.

Last year, my DH took a 3 hour nap for mother's day. It was so fun for me! :rolleyes1

Not sure yet. DH already opened his Father's Day gift and used it the day it was delivered. We got him a weed whacker and a trimmer attachment. He was like a little kid calling me at work to ask if he could play with his new toy.:lmao:

What's the deal with the kids today????? Mine were bonkers- whiney, fighting, crying- ARRGHH! And poor DH, it is his birthday today and we were all crabby!

My whole family is coming to town to celebrate with my dad for Father's Day. And I was thinking of letting DH go play golf on Sunday. Depends on if the kids were like they were tonight.

Oh, I'm hearing y'all about the fighting kids! My DS has been trying to play "parent" to DD for awhile now. And it doesn't matter to him if DH or I are standing right there when he does it!:headache: He makes me CRAZY when he does that!:sad2: DD has been whining A LOT lately. And do you think I can get a quick nap w/o them picking at each other and starting an argument???? NOOOOOO!!! Tomorrow should be more quiet though, because they know I won't take them to my parent's house to swim if they don't behave.;)

Anyhow, back on subject. Most likely we will spend time getting a few things done around the house that we've been putting off and can't do on Saturday (full day of baseball). I still need to get something else for DH (have one small thing already) and a birthday and a FD present for my dad. Plus I have to make dad's cake- a cheesecake. Exact plans? Don't have any. We'll just play everything by ear, but it will be a busy weekend for us.

I have a dd that tries to play "parent".. some situations..
I finally told her the other day that my mommy told me it was my turn to be parent..and I want my turn. I than told her I'd tell her when it was her turn to play parent and I'd behave! I also suggested if she wanted to be a parent maybe she should tackle the :laundy: that was in the basement!:headache:
I think the kid nearly fell over in embarrassment that I said that.. DH on the otherhand laughed hysterically...

agghhh DH was soooo furtrating this AM. I took a personal day so that I could go to pick up his DD a bit early as his ex requested. I planned to et up to get my own DD going dress feed etc. and expected him to take her to daycare like normal so that I could lounge a little and then head in for a day of cleaning while DD was at day care before I needed to make the 3 hours drive to get DsD. Well no since I Had off I could take DD to daycare. Well, of course yesterday was a crazy morning so I had skipped my shower so no doing that today. So here I am wasting a personal day cause here I am showered and out the door at the normal time anyway so that he could leave early and et to work early???? huh? Anyway it gets my goat he doesn't realize that I do as much as I do for his relationship with his DD and ex-wife. aghhhh I swear I am not doing a stitch of cleaning all day until I have to leave and then he can get home later and make snide remarks abiout what I did all day. whoooo sorry:headache:
