Hi Swcheng :wave2: it sounds like our groups are pretty similar! We did WDW last summer as a big family and we're really looking forward to the time together (and apart LOL) on the cruise next summer. Are your cabins together? We got 2 connecting verandah staterooms and interior cabins a few doors down the hall.

We have two inside staterooms connecting, and one oceanview (parents and sister). We just went to Disneyland two weeks ago to celebrate the 60th anniversary! I live in CA. You?

We live in TX but I'm originally from CA, I grew up in the Bay Area and moved to South OC as a teenager. We're heading out there next week for a few weeks to see friends and family and will be in Disneyland on the 60th and then a few days the week after that :D

Where in the Bay Area? I live there. Went to UC Irvine for college. :) A few weeks is a good amount of time. How do you like it in TX?

That's so funny! I'm from San Rafael originally and we'll be staying in Newport Beach, my Dad's HQ is in Irvine, that's why he keeps the place in Newport, to stay in while he's working there. We love TX!!! I miss family and friends, but the longer here, the more I love visiting CA and coming home to Dallas.

When did you move to TX? And the weather there is so different from So Cal!! Neat that you're going to see family and friends. I'm sure they miss you guys.

We are also in for this cruise. We are just off the Fantasy yesterday which was an Eastern as well so if anyone has any questions please feel free to ask away.

We just booked this cruise as a surprise HS graduation present for our DD who will be 17. This is our 14th Disney Cruise, second on the Fantasy. We have spent a lot of time on St. John, so on the St. Thomas day we plan on heading over to Honeymoon Beach and Caneel Bay. We are most excited for Tortola. We are planning a day sail to Jost Van Dyke that day on the Kuralu, a catamaran based out of the West End. Anyone interested in joining that trip? With 10 people you could make it a private charter, so we will need 6 more. Any takers?

This will be our first cruise and my little guy's first real family vacation. My boys will be 3 and 8 when we travel.

Planning a trip this far out is very counter to my nature. Most of our family vacations have been planned with very short notice. We went to Aulani a few years back with six weeks notice. We only ended up there because my big one (and the only at the time) didn't have a passport. I wanted a warm beach vacation someplace with a kid's club, so Aulani it was!

Its very strange to have done all this research and then WAIT.

I'm trying to decide between main and late dining. We're coming from California, so while my boys generally eat early, I think the late dining will fit their jet lag better. Thoughts???
(8:15 main dining means 5:15 California time, which is still almost an hour before their normal dinner time!)

Hello! Our first Disney Cruise... I did Semester at Sea in 1996 and it has taken me a while to get back on a boat! There are 10 of us headed on this trip (aged 3-72)!
I have been reading a lot about the fun little things like "FISH EXTENDERS". Has anyone else done this...? Anything else we need to read up on/about???

Hi everyone, we will be joining the cruise and can't wait.:cool1: This will be our 4th cruise. We will be celebrating our son's graduation from college and our daughter's graduation from high school.

Hi all, we just booked for this cruise too! We'll be celebrating quite a bit... our son will be graduating high school and getting ready to go to Navy boot camp, and my husband will have just graduated culinary school. Has anyone seen anything for a FE group yet? This is our 6th Disney cruise, and on the last one we did the FE and really enjoyed it.

We are from Jacksonville FL, and both hubby and I are retired Air Force. Son is 17 and a senior, and DD is 9, 4th grade. Looking forward to getting to know everyone, and can't wait for June!
