Looking at Lisa's post, I could kick myself! Our TA had emailed us last week about sending in a request to be waitlisted, but I kept thinking that I'd just wait until they announced the opening dates for Gold/Platinum and then send it in. Silly me thinking that DCL would use the same procedure that they have in the past and stagger their bookings based on CC level.

I am a loyal DCL cruiser, but not allowing Gold/Platinum cruisers to book before the general public was a BAD move! I was stuck at my son's Orthodontist appt this morning and emailed my TA as soon as I got to work, but by then it was past 10 AM, so who knows how much prices had gone up by then. At least I had a dummy date to move my reservation from, but still, I'm a little frustrated with how this was handled.

The cruise is for our oldest son's graduation, so we are still definitely going to cruise on the Fantasy (last big family trip before the kids start heading to college), but in the future, I won't wait for an "official" announcement before sending my request to my TA. Totally my goofup, but still quite annoying!
