Anyone have pictures of this room or pictures of a category T with the bump out verandah?

Also, what time did you arrive at the port if you were in concierge? I don't care about being the first onboard. I would prefer to not have to wait to board so we don't want to get to the port too early. What's an ideal time for checking in and walking on? 11?

Can you order breakfast from the MDR in a category T in room?

Is there any way to keep our one bedroom a surprise until we actually get to go into it? My husband doesn't know we booked it yet and I was hoping to keep it a surprise. He will have to drop off a rental car at the port so there's a chance I can check us all in while he's doing that.

You can get there when you want....and never have to wait. There is a separate check-in for concierge, and then they walk you straight on board. We arrived at 11am....and were not only on the ship....but in our room....by 11:20. Then you can go to the Concierge Lounge and eat in peace and quiet.

It looks like you have pictures. We sailed in this room last August on the Eastern Caribbean. It was me, DH, DS16 and DGrandma. PM me if you have any specific questions that I might be able to answer.

Thanks for the pics and info :goodvibes. We sail in a cat t bump out feb 2015. Looks amazing:thumbsup2

We'll be staying in this room in October! I'll make sure to post lots of pictures (and keep the room in good shape) :goodvibes

We had 12012 on the Fantasy last cruise--similar room and we LOVED it!!!

We had 12506 on the Dream but it is exactly the same as the Fantasy.. Loved that room and the balcony was amazing..

My understanding is that all of the category T rooms are the same on the inside. There are some photos of room 12020 in my trip report (link in my signature). We loved our 1-bedroom suite. Amazing experience from start to finish!

Inside the same but port starboard may reverse a few things verandahs as see. Can be different.

It might be hard to hide this since you have another check in counter. Plus you will have different color luggage tags and the docs are different too I beleive.

Since they have no other luggage tags to compare theirs to it shouldnt be a problem. As for the docs, yes they say concierge, but if she can keep them from hubby it isnt an issue either. I kept it a secret from my hubby til we waited in the concierge lounge. If hubby is parking the car and she checks everyone in and doesnt wait in the concierge waiting area, it could be a surprise until they walked you to the lounge. If hubby knows you are going concierge but not a 1 bedroom, then yes you should be able to keep it a surprise until you get to your door. If you meet with concierge staff before going to your room possibly you can tell them not to mention which room it is.

As I said I kept it a secret from my hubby because he lets me plan everything. Unfortunately, he loved concierge and we are now one of the hooked families that will probably try to sail concierge whenever we can. We love Disney, but neither of us love crowds. Concierge met all our needs. I am surprising him with a Royal Suite for our anniversary next year. He will know we are going concierge but not the Royal. I dont ever plan to leave the room. We found the showroom to have tight leg room (we have bad knees) and truly enjoyed watching the shows in our room. We arent big eaters and fully enjoyed all the snacks the lounge had to offer. The only meal we ate out of the lounge was dinner. We like to sunbathe so the sundeck was awesome. Loved the happy hours and we had a great bartender and snack host. Even with all the goodies in the lounge, the food attendant made us a special plate of fruits and desserts everyday. We were in a V on the bumpout and that is how I would love to go each time.

I think if you are careful, watchful for docs, and sneaky you will have no problem pulling off the surprise. Good luck

So good to know! I'll try my best to keep it a secret until tree last possible minute! I'm totally in charge of all vacation planning and finances at my house so he has no clue! He had approved a category v but we decided not to go with it a few months back but he just started a new job that has a huge pay raise and bonus so I decided for our 10 year it would be a good way to splurge. And he'll totally love it!

The royal suite would be incredible but there's no way unless we went alone, on a 3 or 4 day dream cruise!

Thanks for posting pictures. In surprise at how few pictures and videos there are if the category T rooms.

One last question... Can we order breakfast in room on our last day before disembarking?

No breakfast in room before disembarkation but we loved the selections in the lounge sometimes even better than the hot breakfast we could get in out cat T that we enjoyed there for that morning.

We have also enjoyed this room. The only negative I had is that due to the ump out, it was harder to see the fireworks as they were towards the back. Otherwise we loved it!
