So after the Land we hit up The Living Seas. The addition of the Nemo and Friends stuff is so much fun! We explored and wondered at the awesome sea creatures and watched Turtle Talk with Crush and loved every bit of it.
I posed for a "manly" shark photo.
Adriane met an awesome shark expert who showed us all sorts of shark jaws and even let Adriane hold a replica Megaldon tooth!
I could spend all day watching the fish and turtles and dolphins and whatnot but after a bit, we needed to get back into the Florida sunshine. Adriane is a huge fan of everything 80's related so we were on our way to check out Captain EO. On the way she spotted some of her favorite flowers (scarlet begonias?) and I got a cute pic of her in front of the flowerbed.
Adriane shared my opinion of Captain EO in that it was dated even for the 80's!
Epcot is my favorite Disney park. I can wonder around and walk for miles and enjoy the contrast of the world showcase and future world. The F&W festival makes that even better by providing quick and easy food and booze! I will certainly be returning for a future F&W trip some time in the not too distant future. Adriane was able to have several of her FAVORITE beers and also got to try a bunch of beverages that she had not had before. F&W ROCKS!
I am more of a bourbon/whiskey type of guy but I even got into the beer mood a couple a times during the trip. VIVA CANTINA!
For anyone who has not given the Kimpossible adventures a chance - YOU HAVE TO TRY IT! It was very fun for us to share a few drinks and save the world with our "Kimmunicator". Adriane is such a kid at heart and she really got into it and was always surprised with how the World Showcase could respond to finding the next clue (notice the beer is empty and the jalapeno margarita is getting close!).
Once we made sure that the world was safe, we ditched the Kimmunicator and snapped a few more fun World Showcase photos.
Adriane loves vikings and pirates!
Hit me with a funky beat!
At this point in the evening we were pretty well liquored up and were excited to watch good ol' Sugar Ray at the Eat to the Beat concert. So we cruised on over and listened to a song or two. It was great fun and the whole band was super cool and friendly with the crowd. We continued our drinking and wondering around and I ended up doing yoga poses in one of the Epcot fountains (I have no idea how that got started).
Once we had our fill and our feet had enough punishment, we headed back to the boardwalk. I was hungry enough to stop by one of the fast food spots and ordered an enormous amount of fried awesomeness - wings - french fries - onion rings - etc. We took this amazing feast back to the room and looked at all the fun photos we took during the day.
We were having the time of our lives. Adriane was still interested in all my Disney trivia and we were both clearly enjoying each other's company even more as our vacation continued.
More to come with Day 4 where we have a blast at DHS and get DRENCHED on our way to dinner
