DD12 will be staying with my parents in a different (unconnected) stateroom. I was wondering if I will be able to get access to the room she is staying in even though I will be in a different stateroom?

You can go to Guest Services Desk and ask for a cabin only key for the other cabin...actually, your mom should request it since she is staying in the that cabin or at least have her with your when you ask so she can verify that it is OK to issue it (security thing). I know they feel better issuing the key to person who is actually staying in the cabin. They will issue a blank key with no charging privlieges, only cabin access.

We often do this as our three older kids (21, 22, 17) stay in a separate cabin but I like to have access to it.
