Seen these cabins right at the aft on deck 10. Are these any good? Would sea sickness be made worse?
Thanks
The 5e category on the Dream ad the Fantasy are decks 6-10.
Sea sickness is subjective. The more central you are to the ship the less likely you will encounter it.
The second time because it was the huge wraparound the side of the ship which allowed a great view of fireworks and castaway cay.
It is not a MUST room, and isn't on our upcoming trip, but they are very nice if you know what you want out of your space.
We have an aft cabin on deck 7 with extended verandah for our next cruise. We wanted something far away from kids running up and down the halls. We've never had an aft cabin, so this will be a new experience.
I LOVE these cabins on deck 7. The hall is a little wider back there, plus you feel so secluded. We had adjoining 7192 and 7194. Loved them so much, we booked them again for an upcoming trip in April. Heaven!
We're in 7190. Can't wait!
Were you able to book that cabin directly? Or were you put there from a guarantee booking? Just curious because I've tried to book those corner cabins before but have been unsuccessful. There is a video floating around of that cabin (or the one on the opposite side - don't recall which). That balcony goes on forever!
We did the GTY rate. To be fair, we did not book on opening day, so that may have had something to do with it. Maybe if you're platinum or gold status, you may have better luck. It was torture waiting on the room assignment.
Ooohhh! We have one of those on our cruise in June - what cabin were you? We're 10658! Been hoping someone can tell me if it's a good one for fireworks...
I don't think they open up those rooms on opening day. I think the only way to get those corner rooms is by booking GTY. You are lucky lucky lucky!!!
Here is the video -
Have fun!
