Hello!

I am doing some early checking for our trip in May 2005, and it appears a lot of the hotels are already sold out for our dates. Am I looking too far in advance, and that is why they are showing as sold out?

Also, from your experience, should I book now if I see a good deal, or should I wait until January?

Any advice would be great!

Thanks!

Hubby & I used Expedia to book our WDW (went 6/3-6/7) and got a fantastic deal. I think it may have been 'cause we booked it only a month out from the leave date. Not sure why hotels are showing sold out so far in advance, just call the 1-800 expedia number, the customer service folk are pretty helpful.

I loved Expedia. We got two RT airfares from NYC to MCO on Delta Song plus hotel accomodations at Travelodge Maingate East (4 nights) for $491 TOTAL. Some people thought it wasn't that great a deal, but we were very happy with it. We didn't get a rental car because the hotel had great shuttle service.

I'll give you another tip, I am not sure why but if you go online with Expedia in the wee morning hours (ie 1am, 2am) the package prices drop anywhere from $50-$100. I know this sounds nuts but I keep testing the theory and it's true. We are plotting out our next Disney trip and hope to go through Expedia again.

Hope this helps :)

I booked an August trip through Expedia in October. 1 adult & 1 child for 12 (yes twelve!) days air and hotel for $317. I was thrilled with the price. We are staying offsite (LaQuinta Lakeside) which is not too far from WDW (as far as I can tell).

We will use them again!

I think you are right about it "appearing" to be sold out. I've encountered that before on other sites: it appears to be booked, but that's only because it's just too far out to book. I suggest trying to book around Oct./Nov. with Expedia.

Hope this helps!

Thanks everyone for your advice!

Hey meaneausindisney!

I will try that early morning deal and see if it works for me!

Thanks for the tip!
