Sad that your tr is nearly over but glad that your next trip is nearly here!! Can't wait to read about your next adventure.
That Monroe airport is small, I remember when you used to just walk out to the airplane because there is only one gate!!
I really like all the pictures, especially the ones with the whole family!!
What a wonderful wrap-up, Lisa. And all of the pictures are outstanding...I can't even pick a favorite because they are so good.
I once again enjoyed following along with your wonderful family.
So sad to see your trip come to an end but heading over to the PTR to read
Love the Photopass pics at the end, they turned out really nice
Thank you for sharing your trip with us. I loved reading it, as usual! Now I'm gonna go over to your PTR.
Sad to see a trip come to an end.
But now I'm on my way to your new PTR!
199 (oops 200!) pages of FUN! Your TR was soooo entertaining! I think it's clear that the ecstasy (and all the highlights) are your family being together and having a great time!!
Thanks for sharing and I will be signing on to the new PTR!
I've enjoyed following along on your trip report (as usual!) Can't wait to get started on plans for your next trip!!
When was reading about you packing up the car and taking your last few pictures I got that sad depressed feeling of not wanting to leave. I'm glad you had a safe trip home.
OK I'm heading over to you PTR!
THE WATERMELON PATCH!!! I loved that little shop! I miss Mississippi!!!!
Why is the trip over! Both of our trips are now done
but you are lucky and you get to start the next trip soon! I'm totally jealous!
This was such a fun trip report to follow. I'm glad I found you! Now, heading over to your next one. Hmmm . . . got a 404 error from your link. The search is on! You'll know when I've found it.
I love Wishes.
Weeklings going back to the resort so early. LOL. Only kidding.
There are walls between the urinals so it is not right out there although in most bathrooms it is. We all have the same thing so who cares. LOL
It is a nice bathroom, I used it.
His pants reminded me of Mr. Brady or Greg. LOL
I have yet to see that tree with the lanterns.
I hate leaving. Cute ducks.
That red car isnt as close as most of the people drive by me. I get road rage and honk the horn.
Great report and pics. Lots of fun.
I'll be back with replies later but I have a prayer/good thoughts request. You may recall that one of the girls that Lacey grew up with...from the age of 6 weeks old until they both married.....found out that her son has autism several months back. She posted the following on Facebook today and it broke my heart. For those of you who believe in prayer and positive thoughts, I ask that you pray for this young couple as they walk through this difficult journey. Jordan's post:
Have you had one of those days where you've lost your child? Let me explain... Woke up this morning and Hayden is present but Hayden's mind is not. I've cried all morning, it makes me feel so desperate/alone. I've gone to the extreme of even waving my hand in front of his face and he doesn't even blink. He's just not here today. I lost him to Autism today. That sentence right there makes me cry as I type it. As a mother, I wish I knew where he goes when he "disappears" from our world at times. AUTISM YOU DO NOT WIN, YOU DO NOT OWN MY SON. I AM ALWAYS FIGHTING AND MY GOD ALWAYS ALWAYS WINS. God keeps reminding me through friends and my mom today that I will be ok, Hayden will be ok!! Praise God! When my anxiety tries to consume me over Hayden's Autism, my heart begins to sing songs of praises to my King. Please keep us in your prayers, this journey is not always easy on our family and it definitely has it's ups and downs, but it is so worth it. God has been so faithful to us and His love is truly amazing!
Prayers for her family!! I have friends with kids with autism and I have seen how hard it can be on the really bad days. I hope they find things that he connects to that will help him, and them.
This is so sad!! Sending positive thoughts.
My best thoughts are on the way! I'm so sorry they have to go through this. One of River's best friends has autism. I know its very hard on his parents.
Wonderful wrap up, it's so nice when he good so heavily weighs out the bad, a riot of a journey as always, thank you for sharing it and letting us tag along
I'm so sorry to hear of Lacey's friends struggles with her son. It is such a hard road. I know so many who struggle. I will be lifting them up tonight.
I am listening to a DIS pod cast right now about autism. Lots of insight from a 15yo boy with Aspergers. Maybe Lacey's friend could glean some ideas from this. http://www.wdwinfo.com/podcast/roundtable313-072711-ben.mp3
ETA Warning -- they tend to go offcolor, unfortunately.
Sending prayers to Hayden and his family.
I am glad Jordan is finding strength in God.
Thank you all so very much! I mentioned to Jordan that I had asked for the prayers and positive thoughts and she and Daniel (her husband) were touched that there were so many praying for them.
