We are considering an eastern cruise in mid to late February. How is the weather and water temps in St. Maarten, St. Thomas, and Castaway Cay? How are the temps on the ship while at sea and is it comfortable to sit in the sun and swim?

Comments about your experiences during a February eastern cruise would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks, maminnie

We cruised in the middle of January. Leaving Florida was a little chilly--we wore windbreakers onboard ship, but the next morning, the weather was perfect. We swam onboard with no problems. St Marten and St Thomas had perfect weather--warm enough to swim in the ocean, but comfortable enough to tour. Great time to cruise.

The last 2 years we cruised Eastern last week of Feb. Weather was great both times. Water was cool at CC 2nd time but was very windy so that affected temps. It is a great time to be on the beach, especially if you are missing some of the Chicago winter.::yes::

We cruised the Eastern last February, the water in St. Marteen was wonderful, nice and warm, we did not swim in St. Thomas, but it was a nice warm day, mid 80. CC was overcast and windy, and the water felt cooler, we still went snorkeling, played in the water and had a grand time.......
