Thinking of purchasing. Have a question that I cannot find an answer to. Are DVC members entitled to any of the concierge level benifits (specifically the AK Sunrise Safari) or can you use points to stay a night there so that you can be on the concierge level and go on the safari.

DVC members are not entitled to concierge benefits. You could use points to stay Concierge at AKL, but with the new DVC construction there, that will be phased out, maybe Nov 07??

Yes, if you currently use DVC points to reserve a Concierge room at AKL you will be entitiled to all perks available to Concierge guests.

With all other DVC resorts combined with a WDW resort (BWV, VWL and BCV) points cannot be used for stays at the corresponding combination hotel - DVC members cannot use points to stay at BWI, WL or BC. I would expect a similar provision once AKV comes online. However, I would also anticipate some allowance for DVC members to participate in programs like Sunrise Safari - or better yet, for DVC to offer similar programs specifically for DVC guests staying at AKV.

At this time, you should be able to reserve a Concierge room at AKL using points and enjoy the Sunrise Safari.
