Anyone know how long it takes to get your "official" DVC membership card?? I bought via resale, am in the Disney computer and have my membership number and log in id. (I am thinking that came fast because I did an add on at BLT...)

MS also told me that I could stop by SSR next time I am there and get a temporary one... I will "need" to buy an annual pass the end of June and want to make sure I get the DVC discount!

    Hi work2play,
The membership cards are typically the second thing to arrive in the mail from Disney after closing on a resale. It is normally 2-3 weeks after closing. If you received your Vacation Planner then your cards should arrive within in the next week or so.

If it has been longer than the timeframe I mentioned you may want to call Member Services and ask them about it. As you mentioned though you can visit the sales center at Saratoga and they will print temporary cards for you to receive the benefits and discounts of being a DVC member.

Congratulations on your purchase and Welcome Home. :welcome:

Thanks Jamie! We received a 2008-2009 vacation planner in the mail on the same day that we received the paperwork for the add on, so I was not sure which sale caused them to send the planner... That was last week...
