Where can I find info about DVC AP's? Mine expires in June & I would like to know what options are available.

If you are a DVC member and have an MDE account, sign in to your account, open "Parks & Tickets" Tab at top, click on "Annual Passes" and start review on page you get showing those available to DVC members. Don't buy yet becaue renewal options will be shown once you get to 60 days from expiration of current pass when you can renew what you have to any of the AP's at the renewal price.

Anyone know why it shows what I have (gold pass), but it doesn't list that for a renewal? Only the platinum passes. I don't care about block out dates, and want to do the gold pass again...but it doesn't look possible.

I saw that, but it isn't an option on the renewal page. Oh well....mine expires in May. I'm not going back until Sept (dd is starting the DCP, so I foresee a lot of visits after Sept!!). I think I'll just get a new one in Sept.

I always get a new one too. I space my trips to use the AP right before it expires.

DVC renewals have never been possible to purchase online.

You know, I keep HEARING this... yet my wife and I renewed our DVC APs on line in March, 2016. DVC renewal price, all worked - we have our new APs in our profiles.

Now - key element (perhaps?) - we do this logged in, recognized as DVC members in our profile. Saddened that this does not appear to work for others.

Your experience is the same as ours. We were able to renew online from the regular AP to the Gold at the DVC discount renewal rate for the Gold.

I've been able to renew my AP online every time!! I can see the platinum renewal cost, but not the gold. I think they want me to upgrade to the platinum pass...nope, not happening.

how about the DVC discount for Disneyland APs? Is it true that there is NO DVC discount for the Deluxe AP?...but only for the Signature and Signature Plus APs. Can someone confirm?

We've never renewed before - we've always let them lapse & bought new again. Ours expire near the end of July and we've decided to go again in Sept. (just me & DH for 4 n) and again in January for a family trip so we've decided to go ahead & renew ours because the price of a NEW one is $83 more than the renewal. Not sure if we're doing DS's too (he's in college now and can't always come). We might go ahead & do his too tho because the price of the renewal is (currently) only $44 more than a 6-day hopper or $28 more than a 7-day hopper. Since we have the January trip it's probably wise to just renew his too because who KNOWS how many more price increases they might slip in between now and January. The thought of more price increases is a real fear these days....

Took a quick look and yes, it's a $20 discount limited to the signature and signature plus passes. So $829 plus tax for the Signature (I thought they didn't tax tickets in Anaheim?) or $1029 plus tax for the Signature plus.

So weird because I have the gold pass currently ("upgraded" from the old reg DVC pass last October to get the photo downloads for approx $20 vs $150 for memory maker) and when I logged in to look at renewal info I am not given the gold pass option for renewal just the platinum and platinum plus and I am not given the DVC discount-however if I don't click "renew" I am given the option to buy all 3 at the correct DVC price. So for somereason the Disney website recognizes that I am a DVC member but when I follow the renewal link that other website (shop.omniticket.com) does not.

DH and I are both in our renewal window so I thought I'd take a look. I had upgraded, or is it downgraded?, to the Gold AP and DH still has the old DVC premium pass. For both of us we only have the options to renew to either the Platinum or the Platinum Plus. I wonder why some are seeing the Gold and others not?

Ah.....I see now that when I select a pass to renew it's at the regular price, not the DVC. I wonder if my DVC affiliation is no longer flowing thru.

edit:

It seems to be recognizing my DVC affiliation. However, when I click on the renew pass I only have these three options:

  • Passes For All Guests
  • Florida Resident - Pay in Full
  • Florida Resident - Monthly Payments
There isn't the DVC option to select.
