Now that Duffy is in the US Parks has anyone bought any Duffy Bears? I was pretty excited to find out Duffy was coming to America after being an exclusive in Tokyo DisneySea.

My boyfriend was in Disneyland just after Duffy came out and said he would check it out. He lied to me saying they were sold out. But when he got home he had a huge Duffy Bear for me!! He said he wanted to see the look on my face. He bought himself one too.

Now we have two Duffy Bears sitting side by side on our dresser in our bedroom. They look so cute together!

I now have a Duffy Bear from my visit to Tokyo DisneySea and from from the US! I'll have to buy his outfits now...

If you haven't guessed I'm a huge Duffy fan.

You're Canadian and Gay and give your seal of approval? Now I have to love Duffy. But I can't, I just can't. I can't!

We bought one of the original bears sold at the WDW resort, not realizing that it was going to be a collector's item. It has been well loved and resides in our bedroom. We think it's just too cute and would never part with it.

Gabby still wants to try to get pregnant, so when we were at WDW over the summer, we bought two "Disney Bears" and put them away for the kid that we hope to have. The reason that we got two is because we wanted to have a back up bear to have available when one needs to be washed and such.

I can't wait to meet Duffy.

That's too cute! I had a chance to meet Duffy in Tokyo DisneySea but the line up was incredibly long and I was really hungry at the time. So food > Duffy in that instance.

I was at WDW just over a week ago with my BFF and we each bought a Duffy Bear. Mine as a Christmas present for my daughter who was just accepted into the college program for the spring. His for himself (and me) for our travels together.

As we were leaving Epcot I took a picture of Bill holding Duffy with his Chinese outfit and the Epcot sphere behind him. Well stupid me lost my camera. Bill called lost and found and sure enough they had it. Even though he had already identified the camera as being pink in a pink case they wanted to know what the last picture on the camera was. Sure enough it was Duffy and Bill at Epcot.

I admit I really didn't get the Duffy thing. I saw it as just a marketing ploy. But I will also admit he grew on my during my short Food & Wine trip. I doubt I'll be able to resist the temptation when I'm back down there in a month. We'll see :thumbsup2

I didn't get it at first either in Tokyo. But after a while he grew on me. They are trying to recreate the same hype here.

I too bought one of the original Duffy bears back in 2006. I'd seen Samantha Brown on the Travel Channel , and remember her showing her own Duffy Bear. I knew I had to have that bear right then and there, and I'm glad I went to WDW and got me one.

Now, if only they'd bring Duffy's gf Shellie May States-side so I can have them both.

I'm so glad this thread popped up. I didn't see it first time around. Last May when we went to WDW our son lost his favorite Teddy Bear (we believe in a rest stop in GA) we felt really bad so we bought him Duffy. He LOVES Duffy. And we tell him Duffy can't go with us on long trips as to what happened to Fuzzy.

I didn't realize Duffy's history and that he originated in Tokyo.

I love Duffy I got mine at WDW on a trip shortly after he arrived in the USA. Each time I go to WDW I make a point to go get a picture and give him a hug. :)

DF is a CM and with his holiday 40% off I could finally justify the purchase of a Duffy Bear (I think he's just adorable ). Of course they were having a sale to buy 3 Duffy outfits for $30 ($18 originally apiece) and I just love the World Showcase outfits... so 24 hours, 6 (!) outfits, and one bear later needless to say I love me some Duffy. In my defense my little shopping spree should have cost me $119.70 but with the sale and 40% off only cost me $57.51. I feel like I could go on extreme couponing - Disney addition!

LOL wouldn't that be great to coupon your whole trip down to mere pennies.
