Yeah, we should try to do that -- even if it's just a brief meet in the lobby or by the pool. That would be fun!

Your list looks similar to what mine would look like. We love the thrill rides too, but I'm not a fan of anything that spins. :scared: Have you ever done the tame version of MS? I haven't tried, but I want to. I'm pretty sure the regular version would make me sick.

WOO!! Congrats on the great deal on airfare!!! :thumbsup2 I hope they release the September hours faster than the snail pace of August hours. I'm sending prompt vibes your way. :goodvibes :goodvibes

Oh, you have to go to an evening EMH at AK if they have it. Even if it's just for my sake. I can live vicariously through you!! I've heard it's almost like a different park at night.

TSM is so fun!!! I can't wait to get DH on there. I think he'll love it. It also provides a great upper body workout. Or, maybe I'm just a bit out of shape. :lmao:

You are going to have to make your list after your trip. I'm so excited for you! You're going to have SO much fun once you're back in the World. :woohoo:

Aw, thanks! I think I was being a just a tiny bit melodramatic. :rolleyes1 I hope I get to go someday. It seriously feels like the park hour Gods are against me. ::shakes fist in air::

Isn't it crazy how fast time if flying by? I just noticed that my ticker was just about 3.5 months and I got really excited. The only downside to that is we're wishing summer right away. Oh well, you gotta make some sacrifices for Disney...right?

NO WAY would I do any version of M:S - nuh uh, not going to happen :scared1::sick::eek:

Thanks, I watched the fares/flights for four months! I'm sure glad my endless watching paid off :rotfl: I found return from Seattle with the redeye flight we wanted going for about CDN$370 each :woohoo:

I cannot wait for those September hours - it's making me crazy that I can't finalize any plans or make the ADR list for our TA to call in! :headache:

Oh, the "mountain triple whammy" comment reminded me of something. I've been instructed by my oldest ds to keep this information very quiet, but I can tell you, right?! :lmao: He  Stacey, can't get enough of her on that resort room TV, wants to marry her one day (he says he'll marry her only if/when he doesn't think girls stink, that is) :rotfl2:

The "weeny" side, er I mean the "Green Team" is supposed to provide a less intense version of the ride. I think it just means no spinning. I've never tried it before but I think we might in August. I definitely couldn't do the "Orange Team" side. Well, maybe I could for a few seconds...maybe even a whole minute before they had to shut-down the ride.

Ha, I know how fun stalking airfare is NOT. It's such a great feeling when you finally lock down a good fare. Awesome find!!

I wish Disney posted their park hours earlier than the 90 day allotment. They obviously do not know the kind of stress it puts on their guests! :rolleyes1 Seriously, they should be ashamed of themselves.

Aw, that is too cute! I'll make sure to keep it hush hush. I know a few people who have a crush on Stacey. Did you know they changed the "Top 7" to something else? It's not the "Disney Must Do" w/ Stacey. It's like they sucked the fun right out of her...or perhaps they slipped her a few Xanax to calm her down. Either way, I'm really bummed that it's not the same. I've heard they even took out some of the class lines. SAD!!!

You're braver than me for even THINKING of doing it!

Yes, I was very pleased that our flights came down - that fare is pretty darn hard to beat! :thumbsup2

You're SOOOO right - they SHOULD be ashamed :lmao:

Oh no, why did they sedate her?! :rotfl2: I'm sure he won't care - I don't think he'd care if she just stood there and didn't say anything - he'd still secretly love her! :rotfl:

    Edited to add:
I can't remember - was it you who offered to help me figure out ADRs? If not, no problem at all :)

WOO...this is my 3000th post!! :woohoo: Hmm...maybe that means I really don't have much of a life since I DIS way too much. Nah, you can never DIS too much...right?:rolleyes1

Ha, wish me luck!! Hopefully I won't have to use that special bag they put on board. :scared1:

HA! I know DH will be happy to see the "calm" version of her. He was pretty creeped out by her perkiness. Personally, I loved it...especially all her cheesy lines. :thumbsup2 At least they didn't rid of her. Your poor DS would've been so sad.

I don't think that was me, but I definitely don't mind helping out. How I can I help?

Yeah, I read somewhere on the boards and from Jim Hill. The rumors also claimed they were going to add a ride photo (taken at the end with the hitchhiking ghost in your Doom Buggy). I would LOVE that!! It is such a fun ride.

Nope, can't DIS too much! :rolleyes1

Oooh, they have "those" bags on the ride?! Yet another reason for me not to ever attempt it!:lmao:

    I'm glad she's still there too - he would've been crushed! :3dglasses

Seriously!! I was beginning to think they would never be posted. Yes, I know the rational part of me knew they would be posted. However, the dramatic, irrational part of me thought I wouldn't find out until we arrived. :lmao:

    Ha, I agree 100%!!!

I've heard they have the bags, but have never been on it to confirm. I figured I don't really need to ride anything that has bags like that. Since the other side doesn't spin, I'd say they don't have bags. We'll see...wish me luck!

    Currently, I have a Kodak EasyShare CX7530 5MP Digital Camera w/ 3x Optical Zoom.

It's really been a great camera, and put up with a lot of abuse and neglect from me. I have the tendency to just chuck the thing in my purse, instead of properly storing it in a nice little camera case. Oops! My poor, old camera. I think, no I KNOW, it's passed its prime. It really has served me quite well, under the most harshest of circumstances. But, I do think it's time to move on. Plus, I don't want to get down to WDW and have my old camera poop out on me. That would be sad...VERY SAD!!! It's time to move on. RIP my little Kodak warrior.

Now, I must decide on what type of camera I should get to replace it. I briefly thought about an SLR, then I realized I don't want to schlep all that gear around. Plus, I really don't take that many photographs to justify at least a $700 purchase of that magnitude. So, I've narrowed it down to a point and shoot camera from either Sony or Canon.

    Here are my requirements:

    2.7" or greater LCD
    At least 12 MP
4 X optical zoom or greater
    Less than $300
Would like it to take decent, non-shaky night photos

Here are the two that I really like so far:

    Sony - Cyber-shot 12.1-Megapixel Digital Camera - Red
    $179.99

Canon - PowerShot 10.0-Megapixel Digital ELPH Camera - Silver
    $199.99

I welcome (and appreciate) any input you all have to offer.

I just bought Aaron's park ticket on Undercover Tourist. He got a 6 day park hopper for $271.00. The price through Disney is $292.88. We saved nearly $22! That's $22 more I have to spend on pins!!!! :thumbsup2 Plus, I just LOVE Undercover Tourist's customer service. Not that Disney's is bad, but I was really impressed with UT's service and I love saving a few bucks. :thumbsup2 Pretty sweet combination.

I think I have that exact camera!! The Canon Elph, that is. I'm really not a photographer by any means but I love it. The battery lasts FOREVER, I've dropped it a number of times and it's never broken, it takes nice clear pictures and the price is awesome. I'm really happy with mine.:thumbsup2 I would definitely recommend it!

I have a Canon and DH has a Canon, and I enjoy them both!

My dad has an Olympus and it take amazing pictures - his is waterproof though, which means he takes great underwater pictures at the pool or on water rides - something to consider!!
