Does anyone have experience with line length very early in the morning, 6:00 a.m. on Early Entry/Magic Morning days?

No. But in my experience at night they usually have between 4-6 registers open, so the lines move much quicker than in the parks.

This is good to know too. I'm hoping it's quicker to go to Starbucks than getting my coffee at the Hearthstone Lounge in the GCH.

It's a really big Starbuck's and the line can get very long, but they are pretty quick. They know how to get you in and out. Last year for the Avengers Half I went right after DH's group started, maybe around 6:30. I think it took about 10 minutes and there were plenty of people in DTD for the race.

We used the DTD StarBucks for breakfast while we were there the first week of March.

They open at 5am. The morning the park opened at 9am the line was a little longer at 8am. For gate opening of 7am, we were in line around 6:15am and the line was short and FAST! Every day they had several people working to not only take the orders but fill the orders.

If the line is coming out the doors, don't worry get in line and you'll be to the front of the line in no time.

After all..... You are at Disneyland and should be prepared for lines.

Stopped in two separate mornings on the way to the park last month. Both times there were at least 20 people in line ahead of me and both times it took at most 5 minutes.

:dogdance:Thank you all for your input. Sounds like I should be good to go getting my morning coffee at Starbucks! Yeah!

We've gone in mid June, wknd before Christmas, and spring break (last week). Typically at Starbucks around 6:30 for 7am EE, and the line is fast. I'm usually in & out in 15 minutes (I get the drinks while everyone else goes to the gates). Last week I think it was 730-ish when I was there (8am "regular" opening) and I was still in & out in 15. :)

We were there last Nov and we found for 7am EMH/EE, if we were at Starbucks before 6:30, we zoomed right through, no line. If we were there after 6:30, there was a long line - but even then, it moves quickly! Same experinece during our Oct trip. I have to say, this is the most efficiant Startbucks I've been to.

Very good information. I will try and be at Starbucks by 6:05 ish. . . I'm just so glad to have Starbucks available now. :)

I echo that it is busy in the mornings with long lines, but it is a big SB and well staffed. They get you through quickly. The line from GCH into DCA on the other hand is even longer so the best plan is to divide and conquer! ;)

Honestly, am I the only one that sees going to Starmuchobucks while at DLR a waste of time? After all, unless you live in a far, far galaxy away from their closest cousin, then again, why bother? I don't and won't. Blah.....

Different strokes for different folks. Our family prefers getting a Starbucks coffee in the morning to using the room coffee maker. I don't really understand the need or reasoning behind putting down what others choose to do. :confused3

I am not putting anyone down. I just fail to see how that company should even be at DLR to begin with. I choose not to patronize that particular corporation while I am visiting DLR.
Where I live, that co. is everywhere, unfortunately. As a result, I most definitely have no desire whatsoever to wait in their lines at the DLR. I will save that for the churros.

When we wanted a FAST bite to eat and something to drink before 6am, DTD Starbucks is about the only thing open.

With churros now at the $4 mark, Starbucks is less expensive for their options.
I'll wait for a churro until I get home and can go to Costco and get a larger one for just a $1.

Why should Starbucks not be at DLR? There are lots of other companies in Downtown Disney that aren't Disney owned so what does it matter? Just wondering why so much hostility towards a coffee company.

As to the originally posters question - we just got back last night during a busy Spring Break week. We did Early Entry every day and were at Starbucks at about 6:15 each morning and to the gates by 6:30 for a 7am entry. The line moves very quick and they are extremely efficient. Have a great trip!

That's how we are different. I will buy a churro at DLR and Costco. Lol

We stop at Starbucks in DTD or in the parks because I like coffee and want coffee. I don't understand why you feel they shouldn't be in DTD. As it is, even if I liked something like La Brea better, they aren't open at 6:30 before EMH. Only Starbucks is. So it's between hotel room coffee and Starbucks....easy answer for us!
