What kind of a wall will they build on the boat?

Disney needs to be more proactive!!

I wonder how deep that water is? Probably not more than a few feet. If the actor (and for the sake of simplicity I'm going to assume the cast member inside the suit was a guy) had fallen into the water, he'd probably have been OK if he could have stood on his feet. But if he had lost consciousness or couldn't get on his feet, that heavy, water-soaked costume could have dost him his life.

And I get the snarkyness.....but isnt anyone else a bit concerned how easy it was for a character to simply slip and almost fall completely off a moving apparatus in the middle of a performance???....so "disney does no wrong" aside....yes OSHA probably should take a look at that

I saw a clip of that on Instagram and literally gasped. Scary stuff! But I also find it ironic that it was Dopey and Goofy involved.

Goofy looks like he made out fine. Dopey on the other hand, didn't get back up.

I would be shocked if OSHA doesn't investigate. I fell down the stairs once at work. I was clumsy. That was it. But it had to be investigated. Even if it is just filing out the paperwork.

I'm thinking they should put some kind of plexi-glass barrier below the middle metal bar on both the top and bottom levels.

They've been doing it every night (or almost every night), twice a night, for, what, 13 years? And I'm sure the actors have rigorous practices before they're put on the boats. Accidents happen. Make sure the CM's are OK, make sure no safety procedures were ignored and/or no safety equipment failed, and move on.

I noticed that Happy stopped briefly and held up the line. Maybe that's why Dopey started to skip? Do they normally skip?

Poor Dopey! Hope the CMs are ok, pride aside. I gasped when I watched it, but after I watched it again, I laughed a little at Snow's reaction. She's stops, hand flies over her mouth, she looks over the railing and then right back to twirling her ribbon... The show must go on! lol
