We haven't been on an airplane since last year this time, and are very curious to what is now allowed to be packed in carry on luggage. Are we allowed to bring food through TSA security now? We have a super early flight, so I doubt that we will bring any food items, but it would be good to know. Thanks

Tsa.gov is a great site for determining what they'll let you bring through security (which is technically different from what you can bring into the plane's cabin) but there probably haven't been any changes since last year.

You were allowed to bring food last year, as long as it wasn't a liquid or a gel.
