I heard that ESPN was offering a High-Definition channel starting at the end of March. No word from DirecTV, at least, that they would be carrrying ESPN HD. But since they've been screaming for at least a year that they were the first to carry HD (big whoopie: HBOHD, SHOHD and HDNet), I would imagine they will.

    Here's some info.

Sounds like Disney wants a bundle. I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for either Dish or DirecTV to add it.
Rumor says that if DTV adds ESPN HD, it will be on a side satellite and require the Sat C kit.
HD content from Echostar already requires a second dish.

Check out dbsforums.com. It's like the DIS only for DBS!

That's why I was asking here. Those guys know some stuff, but I wasn't sure if anyone here with an "in" knew anything from the Disney side. I hope Rupert doesn't scoop it up before Charlie gets a chance to iron out any problems. :(

I already have 3 dishes (4 sat reception) so the off axis sat. doesn't matter to me.
