We all know if you want to save money at Disney, you go before your child turns 3, and before you child turns 10. Does a child's age matter when it comes to getting a good price on a cruise?

Yes, those age 13-17 pay a slightly higher price than those age 3-12.

And kids under 3 are cheaper, too.

We booked the 6/2/12 Fantasy sailing and even though he turns 3 on the 3rd we're still paying the reduced cruise fare for him.

His fare is $427 but if I put him in as already being 3 it's $854.

Thanks everyone! My kids will be 3 yrs. and 10 months when we go on our first cruise. We'll make sure to get in at least one more before Judah turns 3!
