Hi, We are going to Disneyland for 4 days "on the way" to Oregon from KC and we will have our Lab with us. We have visits/walks "scheduled" every 4 hours or so and if they will allow her to check out and back in we will walk her back to the Motel 6 (I know it's a long walk but they are dog friendly) for our mid day swim/nap break. For those of you who have used the kennels before, I have a question about timing in the morning. Our plan is to be at the kennel door at least 30 minutes before park/MM opening when the kennel opens but hopefully more like 45 minutes so that we are among the first in line to drop her off. We will check her in and then proceed directly to the security lines. Should this get us well positioned in the lines or should we consider splitting our party up - one adult to check her in, the other adult and kids to/thru security and then meet up either in the security line or at the gate line? Will the dropper need to have their ticket to get thru security or just the gate? Also, if any of you have dogs who don't like the sound of fireworks (ours doesn't, even from far away) have they been terrorized when you pick them up at night? Any other suggestions? We plan to bring her bedding, our own food, her Kong with peanut butter and her favorite indestructible chew bone every day. We'd appreciate any other information that fellow dog people might have to make her stay more comfortable. Thanks!
