Disneyland Character locations?

For the past few years we've gone to Disney World and have followed Kenny the Pirate's advice on meeting characters. He gives times and locations. Is there anyone who does anything similar for Disneyland parks? Character Palooza is the best thing ever at Disney World involving characters. 9 characters at once in a location that most people don't know exists. Wondering if anything similar happens at Disneyland. Going soon and would love to know any tips/tricks on meeting characters. Thanks!

If you are looking for someone specific stop at the guest service kiosk. I have found them to be really helpful in telling exactly when a particular character will be in a certain area.
