Disney Wonder Panama Canal May 01, 2016

My daughter will be 19 mo. not sure how many other toddlers there will be.. we should make a play group.

Yes, absolutely. My son will also be 19m.

On the prior EBPC Disney cruise, we recall no more than 20 toddlers. With the updated minimum age of 12m on these crossings, i expect even less young children.

Im not sure how all that will work but figured worth knowing some of the kids though likely we would habe met at the splash pond anyway.

Does my one have any great Cabo excursions planned? I am not exactly thrilled with the excursion offerings. We have a DD11 and a DS4

They've changed up the swim with the dolphins since our kids went on our first Disney Cruise four years ago (seems an eternity), but we loved the experience. We non-paying adults weren't allowed to go closer than the observation deck, and we weren't allowed to do photos. They took great photos and videos and sold them at a heftyish price, but they included all three kids (and who knows when they will ever be that near dolphins again). It was a great experience for them -- they talk about it to this day. They've changed the rules up so we have to have one adult per child and I have far too many children -- so we can't go this trip. The company was a clean running machine -- waits weren't too long -- a good amount of time spent with the dolphins -- lots of pics and poses and photo ops -- I've never questioned that it was worth the money. There was an error on the CD/DVD they sent with us -- I took it to guest services on the ship, and they took care of having the dolphin experience fix it and return it. Really easy to deal with.

I will be bringing my two children Son-11 and Daughter -9. I am a single parent (widow) and our first Disney Cruise. DO you think there will be other Single parents there? I don't want to be a constant 3rd wheel.

hi everyone. can you tell me if european style swimming is permitted in the adult pool?

I wouldn't worry too much. DH and I will probably be doing our own separate thing part of the time. We are traveling with only our youngest daughter - 8. (leaving the 27,29, & 33 year olds and grandkids behind, LOL) I think you will have a great time with the kids.
On our first cruise when DD was 2.5, our table mates was a single woman with her 2.5 and 22 year old daughters. We had a great time hanging out together.

:welcome: I think there will be. I know there are some singles coming and there are people like my husband who does not do a lot of the thing I do with our adult daughter, which we have seen singles come to a lot of the events we attend. Even though he does not smoke he will congregate with the smokers in that area (he did used to smoke so he is comfortable there) and meets a lot of friends and interacts with them. So don't stress and just plan on having fun. I know your kids will.

We are a group of 13. We have a single mom and 2 single ladies in our crew. Pretty sure there will be lots of people to meet and spend time with.

Hey there, this will be our 2nd cruise. Can anyone explain the the fish extender process? We are bringing our two children with us. Any advice you have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much. -Nikcole

Our fish extender groups are closed, so if you want to be in one we would have to put your name on a list and wait and see if someone else wants to join a late group. We close them so that everyone would have time to buy and/or make their gifts. But it is a gift exchange between groups of people that have signed up.

Thanks Katy. Please let me know if you have any other last minute folks interested. Thanks, Nikcle

Hey Guys, I've heard all about pirate night but I just heard a rumor that on one of the first nights there will be a frozen themed night. Has anyone experienced this event before? thanks

We are staying at The Comfort Suites Miami Airport North includes free transportation from the airport and to the port along with free breakfast. I got the room for $135 including tax, fees, etc

We leave home at 6:30 am and don't arrive to Miami until 8:30 pm so we just basically need a place to sleep.
Wow!!! That is better by $100 than what we got. We are at The Holiday Inn Express. We get to leave our car for the 14 days and the transportation etc.

They had this on our December Bahama cruise. It was our first experience with it and we enjoyed it. The weather had not cooperated for fireworks on Pirate night so we had them on Frozen night which made it extra special. We had a special themed dinner for Frozen and the show featured Elsa and Anna up on deck 9. We also received some special acrylic snowflake necklaces which lit up. Special reminder for us to bring home.

so what are your interests? What does everyone do for fun (aside from Disney that is..)
