Do they sell them onboard? Thanks

There are gift cards for sale. I don't remember the last time I saw Disney Dollars!
I have a couple uncirculated ones I got from a coin store in the 80's
Are Disney Dollars still good/used? My dad mentioned last weekend that he thought he had some somewhere and was going to give them to my kids to spend on the cruise since he thought they had no expiration date. I didn't think twice about it since I'm not a big Disney buff & haven't heard of them before. Now I'm wondering if they'd even be able to spend them and/or if I'd rather save them for their collector's value.
I read somewhere that they are coming out with a few new ones
Yep. Me too.
Disney Dollars can be applied to the stateroom account, but I'm not sure they can really be "used" onboard otherwise since it is a cashless system and everything is charged to your KTTW card. The parks and resorts still accept (and sell) Disney Dollars, or at least they did last spring.
For 2013 they released Villians & Hero's!
