Disney Magic Bahamas 01/11/17

I'm so excited for this cruise! It will be the shortest Disney Cruise we've taken, our 5th cruise, and 4th on the Magic! To top it off, our DD turns 13 on the 13th!!

We are seriously considering this cruise! We just got back from a Disney Magic cruise to the Caribbean in Jan/Feb, and needless to say we fell in love! My sister Katie is taking her family on this cruise as well! I'm crossing my fingers that we can join you all on this adventure!

I am taking this cruise with a college friend of mine! I have been on the Magic before, but it's been several years. My friend has never taken a cruise before and she is also a Disney fan, so I am excited to initiate her into the world of cruising with a Disney experience! I have only been on week-long cruises before, but we are taking a shorter one so she can see how she likes it. Anyone have any plans for what they are doing in Nassau and Key West?

So we are taking my DDs friend, who has never been on a cruise, so I am seriously considering making Nassau a boat day since the cruise is so short. We were in Key West a few years ago on DCL and did the snorkeling/kayaking and that was fun!

I'm toying with doing the FE on this cruise. Has anyone ever done one on a shorter cruise? Our first FE was this past May and we had fun!

Wait.... Is it a fish extender? Just found out about those a few weeks ago!

Right now fantasizing about this cruise is more fun than working!

If I was going with my husband we would probably stay on the ship in Nassau and chill out, but since my friend is coming I think we will go to the rum distillery, the chocolate factory, maybe eat some yummy Bahamian food. Might also do Queen's Staircase and the Pirate Museum, as well as Junkanoo Beach for a little bit. Gotta admit that rum and chocolate are my priorities!

We are so excited to be on this cruise. It's our first cruise ever. My hubby, me, and 2 kids. Also considering doing the FE.

We've been to Key West before. The butterfly house is cool, as is just walking down Duvall St. We also did a fun jet ski tour around the island while we were there, though not sure if Disney offers that. I'd bet you could arrange it right at the marina close to port privately (or even ahead of time).

We would love to join the fish extender group as well. So excited to be cruising again

Yay! So fun to see this thread open! This will be DCL cruise number 3 for my 2 boys, hubby, and myself! This one is extra special because we are joining my best friend and her family for her wedding celebration! Is there a FE group for this cruise yet?

this is my family's first time cruising. I think we are interested in the fish extender but I'm not sure where to begin. Can some one educate me?

So excited this cruise is coming up...BUT....my dear friend came down w/ a hideous case of ulcerative colitis and can't travel! And I couldn't find anyone to come with me on such short notice, so I will be going on my first every solo cruise! Still looking forward to sun and relaxation, but it will feel weird to be on a cruise alone! Maybe if I'm lucky I can find some other solo cruisers.
