I'm about to give up on purchasing eBay GC's through Target. I tried to place an order this morning for $250 in eBay cards and it was cancelled within 10 minutes. I didn't go through a shopping portal, and my last attempt was a full week ago. My last successful purchase of eBay GC from Target was $200 on 4/7, and that was after not making any attempts for 3 weeks. I have to get supplies for a school project so I'm going to try ordering some of that stuff and maybe a small GC with it and see if that goes through, but I'm getting really annoyed with all the cancelled orders. I have a little over $250 in Target GCs, so not a huge amount to have to spend in store, but I'd obviously rather not lose the 5% discount from buying online. When I buy the school supplies I will charge a portion of it to my RedCard as well, and see if that helps.

This was an easy process when I started 3 months ago and now it's just getting frustrating!

Hey guys- something weird happened to me. I tried to convert my eBucks into a $50 ebay digital gift card and it said it would take up to 24 hours. I got the confirmation email and everything. But then about 10 minutes later, I received an email that said "Order Number and Claim Link" and it was a $50 e-gift card to Sephora? Could it be my lucky day and I got a free $50 to Sephora, haha? Or should I contact customer service?

Man this process is so glitchy! Even doing non-churning transactions has been a headache!

I posted about this same thing yesterday! I got a $25 Sephora GC instead of a $25 Ebay GC. I sent PPDG a message through eBay but got no response. After someone else posted to call, I called Paypal and the only option was to refund the bucks back to Ebay. Calling was pretty painless and the whole call took about 10 minutes. 5 minutes after I hung up, the refunded ebucks was back on my account.

I might just wait for a bonus and not deal with PPDG anymore because it has been such a headache (though I am not churning high amounts).

If it's a hotels.com giftcard mine have taken up to 3 weeks from svm

I don't think that's always the case. They have several negative reviews on how slow the shipping is. I paid for an Electronic Gift Card on 4/12 and it has still yet to be emailed to me...

You would think egift cards would ship a little faster.

I don't think SVM sells any egift cards. I expect your gift card is a physical gift card if ordered from SVM and will arrive soon. I've had PPDG not send me a card for 3-4 days before, but they were having issues at the time and they did show up eventually. The bell/notification symbol on your ebay page should tell you if it is shipped or not.

I just tried to order Disney GC's from target using Target GC's to pay and it keeps taking the 5% discount away after I apply the target GC's as payment. I have ordered in the past, including just a couple days ago (which worked fine) so I know how it is done. Did they change something within the last couple days? Anyone tried to place an order today?

I have just been using gift cards. It was working fine until about a month ago I started having a lot of orders cancelled. I'm going to try charging a small amount to my RedCard with the next order and see if that helps.

That may work. I ended up using $110 in target gc and putting the rest on my redcard and it worked. So far anyways. May get cancelled who knows. Luckily I still need quite a few disney cards so i would end up getting them with my redcard anyways. I only have about 5 weeks so not alot of time and I still have a few target gc's to get rid of. Hope I have enough time to make it all work.

I ordered a Bed Bath and Beyond GC from them on Apr 6th and it was delivered on April 14th, so over a week. Not the best turnaround IMO.

Interesting. I was just at the Meijer in Champaign, IL last night and the signage was still up. It gives the impression it's a long term thing.

My signage said it ended 4/16, if your store sales run during the week that may explain why you saw the signs up. Hop on it before it expires!

Building on my success in using ebucks yesterday for a $100 ebay GC, I was able to use the rest of my ebucks tonight in 2 separate transactions, $25 ebay and $25 GS. I didn't call my GS to confirm they were still accepting GC's for the purchase of GC's so might have to drive over to IN.

Hmm. Our area has ads that run Thursday-Wednesday so we're still in the "old" ad. I may check and see if it's still available in my area.

I'm sure it's still good! My sign had a 4/16 end date but that's when our weekly sales ended. Hop on it!

I just now placed an order for Disney GC's along with some toothpaste. Worked just as well as it always has for me.

Thanks for the replies. I was trying to determine if I could get a CVS GC by Sat (they have EB deals on a few things we need). If it were to ship by tomorrow, I'd probably get it in time, but it looks like the shipping time may very per card based on the responses. Guess I'll just buy a few gas GCs instead.

No, but I haven't really been tracking it that much. There are many surveys that I don't get through but they all pay .25- .50 each. It's really great when you get one for $10 or $20 but those are few and far between. I would say I only end up doing a complete survey once every other week. So, get a one way ticket from that much isn't too bad in my opinion. As I mentioned I have done it for years, but wasn't traveling as much. I got lots of magazines as rewards in the past and gift cards to gamestop and American eagle too.

Hmm, this is all pretty interesting! Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this aspect of working for trips! Sounds like it's not overwhelming amount of work at this, but I'll be checking it out - getting some reward points would be great and always helpful!

I am still having problems with PPDG after 3 days. I am thinking about giving up and just buying a target card. I think I have verified my account by text at least 6 times and once by phone call. Has anyone has success after calling PayPal for assistance?

I did have success Sat afternoon getting my remaining $400 ebucks pushed thru on GS gc's. I got one order of $100 GS gc, then couldn't do anymore till I called Sat afternoon and she got it thru. But, tried to use mine after that to help get DD25's account Ebucks spent, and no go. Tried with paypal and ebay help Sat night, Sunday, afternoon, and tonight. Tonight, I needed help just to pay for a sports fishing equipment I ordered for someone and couldn't pay. Called and she got it to work and that item won was paid so that was good. so we tried the GS PPDG gc's on DD25' account but won't work again, must obviously be related to PPDG which would suck cause I like using the GS gc's way to churn for ebucks and then back to target after a bit. Anyway, she passed me to her supervisor and He tried every override and nothing would work. He promises he'll call me about the same time(9 pm cst) tomorrow night to try to get things to go thru. He said there were no more overrides to do but waiting some time(24 hours) should work. I'm thinking it won't work, but definitely getting worried about spending her
ebucks!

On a GS note, I was able to easily go in and buy a $500 ebay gc bought with the ebucks of mine that I finally had got to spend when she helped push that one order thru! Now just to get DD25's someway! Not really hoping for a promo tomorrow now, lol! So, we'll probably get one, lol.
