Continuing with Food & Wine (2014) and Dining Throughout Disney World with Figment...
Les Halles, Epcot (Breakfast)
Figment really enjoys starting his day with French pastries!
Framboise, Fraises, and Café Liégeois Figment really liked all three of these desserts. His favorite was the café ligéois (coffee and cream mousse). The raspberry cake (framboise) and strawberry and cream tart (fraises) were also very tasty.
Pommes, Duo au Chocolat, and Macaron Figment thinks starting the day with chocolate (duo au chocolat) is always a good idea. The macaron was good, but he does like the one at Disneylands Jolly Holiday better (its shaped like a Mickey head!). The apple tart (pommes) was fruit, so it was healthy.
Café Liégeois, Napoleon, Tarte au Citron, and Framboise Figment tried two different things this time; the napoleon and the tarte au citron (lemon tart). The lemon tart was slightly tart and very sweet. The napoleon was flakey and good.
Palmier
Tarte au Chocolat
Éclair, Vanilla
Éclair, Chocolat
Macarons
Sandwiches and Salades
Liberty Tree Tavern, Magic Kingdom (Lunch)
Liberty Tree Tavern is one of Figments favorite spots for lunch in the Magic Kingdom. The menu is a la carte and Figment usually enjoys a light entrée and the wonderful Oooey Gooey Toffee Cake for dessert. He was seated in the front room, with windows that looked out into Liberty Square. He was having a late lunch, so the Festival of Fantasy parade went by while he was eating. The windows have opaque glass, so he couldnt see the parade, but could hear it!
Souvenir Mugs - LTT has a souvenir mug!
New England Clam Chowder Figment started his meal with a bowl of clam chowder. It was creamy, with lots of clams.
Tavern Fried Cheese - With marinara sauce. Figment likes fried cheese sticks so he thought hed give these a try. They were okay, but nothing special.
Colony Salad - Washington apples, sweet pecans and applewood smoked cheddar, dried cranberry Craisins, and grilled chicken tossed with field greens in honey shallot vinaigrette. This is one of Figments favorite salads. Its nice and light, but still filling. He especially likes the pecans and Craisins.
New England Pot Roast... Our Tavern Keeper's Favorite - Braised beef in a cabernet wine and mushroom sauce served with mashed potatoes and garden vegetables. Good flavored pot roast, with generous serving of roast.
Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake - Vanilla cake with a gooey toffee filling, vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce. This is Figments favorite dessert at LTT. So yummy!
Gastons Tavery, Magic Kingdom (Dinner)
Figment stopped by Gastons Tavern towards the end of MNSSHP for a quick snack.
Wormy Apple Slush and Scary Good Ghost Cupcake Figment really liked the wormy apple slush, which was apple slush with strawberry puree and gummy worms. The Scary Good Ghost cupcake was a chocolate cupcake with a marshmallow ghost on top.
Roasted Pork Shank - The "Shank du Jour". Figment really liked the pork shank. Its salty, but very tasty and its easier to eat than the turkey leg (no tendons and it falls off the bone).
Caseys Corner
Figment decided to have a midnight snack at MNSSHP before heading out (it was also a good way to let the first wave of guests head to the buses).
Hot Dog Meal A yummy hot dog with lots of toppings!
Next time...Kringla, Rose & Crown, and much more!

Thanks! F&W is my favorite time of the year to go. Figment also went to a couple of the special F&W events ("3D" Dessert Party, Party for the Sense, and Parisian Breakfast). Those reviews are in the dining report in my Signature (Figments Villainously Good Food & Wine Festival, 2014).Love Figment reviews, now even more excited to go to F&W this year! TFS!
